The Matthew 28 Principle
When it comes to verses that most Christians know, Matthew 28:18-19 is one that could top the list. "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Do we understand this section of scripture as fully as we could? Pastor Steve takes a fresh look at these familiar words as he explains what needs to be presented as we explain the Gospel to people.
Usually seen as an encouragement to evangelism--as well as an instruction for the way in which to water baptize new believers--these words of Jesus are far more than that. The Lord was showing the steps of full conversion: repentance, trust in the Jesus' sacrifice and empowerment for service. As Pastor Steve opens up these verses, you'll more fully understand your salvation and the good news you carry to the world.
Messages included in this series: In the Name of the Father; In the Name of the Son, In the Name of the Spirit.

THIS MONTH'S PREMIUM OFFER
Recapturing Adam
Do you have a clear understanding of God's plan throughout history for mankind? Do you have a clear understanding of God's plan for you? In his message, "Recapturing Adam", Pastor Steve re-tells the amazing redeeming story of why God created us and what He did to restore the close, intimate relationship with us He originally had in mind when He created Adam and Eve. Man has taken what was given to him and said "I want to do it my way" and we've reaped the bitter fruit of that decision ever since. This is not what God had in mind for mankind at all! But it's not too late to have God's original intention recaptured. In the message "Recapturing Adam", Pastor Steve tells how we, too, can be recaptured and live the great life God has in mind for us. All this month you can receive a copy of the message "Recapturing Adam" when you send a gift of any amount to the ministry of Life Lessons. It's our way of saying "Thank You" for your generous support of this radio ministry.
