Three Kinds of Prayers

Mike Fabarez: The Bible talks about prayer in a variety of ways and there are at least three categories. The first one being that time of scheduled prayer, that kind of prayer like Jesus when he got up before dawn and he met with God and poured out his heart before God.
The second is that team effort where Christians get together to corporately direct our gratitude and our requests to God. Praying with one another allows us to share one another's burdens and to build one another up.
That third kind of prayer the Bible talks about is that praying continually in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. It's that reaching out to the ever-present God in the continual requests and praises of the day. So let's make all three types of prayer a priority for our lives this week as we seek the God who listens.
