Suffering and God's Plan

Mike Fabarez: A common question we often hear is why would God allow suffering and pain and death? Part of that answer is that that is exactly the promised outworking of God's response to sin. Our Creator has consistently maintained that the wages of sin is death. The absence of it, if there was ever a time where there was the absence of it, that would really call into question the truthfulness of God.
That doesn't make the pain hurt any less. But let us remember that God's sentence of death on sin is a disguised opportunity for us to experience his grace. God sent his son to purchase for us the ultimate new start. And those who cling to God's redeeming grace will finally be released from the just consequences of sin.
