An Everlasting Throne
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall, but God’s kingdom and God’s throne shall stand forever!
Guest (Male): Open the Bible with Colin Smith.
Colin Smith: God gave a promise to King David, your throne shall be established forever. But how can any kingdom last forever? Well, when Jesus was born, the angel said, the Lord will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. Jesus rose from the dead, and he ascended into heaven, and death no longer has power over him. As King of Kings, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, where he will reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The future is bright for all who follow Jesus.
He will reign forever.
Guest (Male): Is there someone in your life who needs to know the God of the Bible and might be open to take a journey through the Bible with you? Invite them to openthebible.org.
