Evangelicals are apostatizing much faster than other denominations, especially on homosexual marriage - a 250% apostasy rate in the last 7 years. And, America has finally seen a sharp drop off in the number of people who believe in creation. The battle for the faith in America has reached the most intense levels — the most intense it has been in all of Western history.

Every worldview will have its heroes and its villains. What are yours? We discuss the most important people of the 20th Century, and compare our list with that which we find on Biography.com. Some evangelical academics call Thomas Aquinas “the greatest, wisest, most intelligent human theologian who ever lived. . . ” Or, was his teaching some of the most dangerous teachings that the Catholic and Protestant church ever inculcated? Did his theory of knowledge undermine the Western world? These are important questions for the modern church, especially as we fight to salvage what remains of the Christian faith in the West.

After the President’s State of the Union address, we take a close look at the foundations of the nation. We look for humility in the State of the Union talk, and find seven references to the word “Proud” and one reference to the word “Pride.” Borgen Magazine’s survey of the nations, finds that America is the proudest nation in the world.
