When the Greatest Minds are not so Great, Part 3

June 17, 2015
Humans who acquire great amounts of wealth and power, in time begin to think they have the same powers as God, but do they? Wealth and power are not the problem, God has both and He has no problem whatsoever. The outcome lies with the ethics that are being applied; that's the bottom line and the difference between the right way and the wrong way to do things; between truth or lies. Liars, cheaters and god-haters will never prosper indefinitely. In the light of God's ethics they will always fail and their ruin is great if they do not repent.

It is natural that likeminded people unite to carry out their understanding of how life should be in this world. However, there are those whose minds are not directed by God that pull the strings to enroll those elements in society that can be of use to further their agenda. Needless to say, they are led astray because they pursue other sources of ideas that are in conflict with those of the Almighty and Sovereign.

"Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed...He who sits in the heavens laughs the Lord holds them in derision." (Psalms 2:1-4)

In fulfilling the Great Commission, Jesus knew we were going to need him so He promised to be with us when Jesus said, "I am with you always, to the end of the age” Matthew 28:20b. This is not a limited presence of Jesus to the first disciples; it is a forever presence in each generation since then. The magnitude of the work of discipling the nations is enormous, challenging, demanding, costly and for some it requires the ultimate price. There is no fear to lay down our life for the Kingdom of God.

To disciple a nation means to disciple people in the full counsel of God. They must know who God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are and the value of the Living Word of God in all areas of culture. The Word of God is powerful! When He speaks, we know things happen. By carrying out the Great Commission, Christians know “all authority in heaven and earth” is theirs, they too have unlimited authority to make every area of life conform to God’s will.

In Jesus’ time, religion, law, history, ethics and education were united. Through both the written (Torah) and oral (Mishnah) law, teaching was passed on from generation to generation. The condition in the economy, education and culture were very similar to what we face today so the solutions Jesus offered that worked back then, will work for us today because principles never change.

People are constantly looking to prosper. If they can't accomplish it in their nation of origin they are willing to migrate and immigrate to another nation that is prospering materially without taking into consideration the moral, spiritual and political condition of that nation. They fail to see that all those factors will greatly impact their life and that of their future generations if they make a wrong choice because human problems are not just based on the economy of a nation.

As a race we are one, the human race. We also have one single problem: our nature is a sinful fallen nature and in need of restoration. This sinful nature is the cause of all the problems for humans and the physical world. This urgent restoration can never be accomplished without the experience of the new nature in Christ, that means you must be born-again. It has nothing to do with religion, rather with our true understanding and acceptance of our created being.

We are not sent to engage in confronting Satan's culture on our own. God, by his grace, has empowered us to be successful against His enemy and ours. You may be hesitant to do the work you ought to be doing for the Lord because you think you will be doing so on your strength, but keep in mind that it is not unusual to feel that way. This is why God commended his people of all time to, "...let the weak say, I am strong."

The fear of confronting the culture of evil is removed once we understand that the authority of the Triune Godhead works on our behalf to carryout the work. All the power of men and the host of fallen angels and demons cannot withstand the authority of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ authority includes heaven and earth. This is the reason why his name is above all names.

The world is influenced only by two cultures, God's Kingdom and Satan's kingdom. There are no more options for ideas and inspiration. Jesus came to announce to humanity the source of evil, which is wicked, malevolent, sinful, malicious, criminal, immoral, vile, nasty, and plain horrible. But Jesus also came to proclaim that the Kingdom of God was now operating in the world for the benefit of the human race and that is our message to disciple the nations and it will never change.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
