Unchecked Wrong Attitudes Become Sin Part 2

April 3, 2019

"Count it all joy,… when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him" (James 1:2-4, 12)

It is very easy for most of us to want to be at the controls of our life, after all we want to be responsible and mature people. Facing life depending only on ourselves will cause us to error in many ways because our knowledge and strength are very limited. The other side of the coin is to be a double-minded person who is unstable in all their ways. So where is the balance of being responsible for our person and at the same time being dependent?

Most of us agree that the elimination of Down Syndrome children through abortion is not something to be proud of nor do we want it to continue. Such evil and delusional thinking and practices must be eradicated from America. The fight is under way and should only increase until we eliminate all abortion on demand in the world, starting with our country.

There are powerful testimonies that present the reality of what it is to be created in the image and likeness of God even if there are some differences that are considered less than perfect. "Be indebted to no one, except to one another in love, for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. Love does no wrong to its neighbor." (Romans 13:8, 10)

How bad is it? Will my child be functional? Will my child be able to live a happy life? Will my child be able to do the basics like walk, talk, and socialize? These are natural questions when a parent receives a positive diagnosis of a child with special needs. It is important to remained focus on the value of life and who has defined it.

God created a perfect world because he is perfect and everything he does is perfect. He cannot create anything that is faulty, imperfect, or deficient. Yet, he gets blamed for the contamination that sin creates. As a result of sin, now we have an imperfect world. But our merciful God has made a way to redeem it all.

Looking at life from the big picture of history, there are highlights and landmarks that peg each century in nations and civilizations. In this topic we want to create awareness that our greatest battle in this 21st century is not the economy, agriculture, education, commerce, or anything else, as important as those are. It is the battle to restore a culture of life not death.

Those who think that nations stand or fall because they are smart or because of a “strong national defense” are terribly ignorant of biblical principles. The wonderful news is that our Lord is a God of mercy, and He responds to repentance. Life is always beautiful and only makes sense when we focus on the greatness of our God. True faith in God will elevate us to the next level of blessings.

With God even the very last nano second here on earth counts if we have a change of heart and cry out to God. This is why we should be thankful every single day that God allows us to be alive here on earth and make it count for his purposes in our lives. It is a fact that all people are accountable to God's moral law because it is established law. This powerful truth has been lost and is in direct conflict with the modern theory that says that those who are “outside of the church” are not subject to God’s standards on all things.

In our previous program we looked into why and how the Roman Empire came crashing down even though it didn’t happen overnight. Today we are going to see how a place called Nineveh caused God to pronounce judgment on it because of their sin. God in his mercy sent a man named Jonah to warn them. He went begrudgingly but the outcome was more than miraculous, it had everything to do with the response of the people to God’s warning. We must learn from this example and fall on God's mercy.

It is true of men and nations, we must learn from the mistakes of others if we want to avoid the same pitfalls. We are analyzing the plight of some people and civilizations in history that did the right thing and others who lived wrong and got destroyed. The Bible tells us the good, the bad and the ugly so we can understand life from a real perspective and see how with God we will always win where it matters.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
