Doing the Right Thing is Not Easy but Greatly Needed Part 2

July 18, 2018

Most people are only using their own understanding and the understanding of others to create their worldview. How we see the world has everything to do with how we will live our lives. It is clear we are having the government that reflects who we have become as a people. Those who push the hardest gain more ground. "Be careful, then, that the light within you is not darkness" (Luke 11:35).

The world around us is getting more and more aggressive against doing the right things. Those of the liberal agenda are fixed on radically changing our culture in a direction that is the wrong way. We are definitely in a war of ideas. The time for keeping the peace in silence is over because you will get run over.

Ordinary people, through prayer, can get extra-ordinary things accomplished. The prayer of faith is powerful and extraordinary things happen. Our Nation always needs daily prayer, too much is at stake and we need to acknowledge and ask for God’s intervention in our national matters. You might find yourself in adverse situations; however, when you pray, your situation changes.

It is wonderful how much more ministry gets done by a few people than when they would just attend a congregation. Our best efforts would be to make a case for why the Biblical worldview is superior to everything else. When people begin to experience being empowered by our mighty God, they are ignited to blaze forward with the Gospel stopping at nothing in their desire to do God’s will for their lives!

To whom much is given, much will be required. The most important work any Christian ought to be on guard for at all times is against the erosion of biblical values and its worldview. And we must be willing to do everything within our power to correct that even if it means walking away from our place of worship that is not being truthful and loyal to the Word.

Political correctness has infiltrated into the body of believers in Christ to the point that they have compromised their stand on truth and morality. We often don’t hear sin being preached about by pastors because too many people might be offended, but that should be all the more reason to preach about it, since that is the way to grow in the grace and knowledge of God. If we don't know the parameters how can we know we are outside of them?

When the Word of God is not honored as it should be, then all the life goes out of that congregation. In addition, when the teaching is not tied into the needs of the people, we are failing to be relevant in our message to the community. What people need is what will help them in developing true growth and answers to life's daily issues.

The body of Christ must minister to one another. Those with greater knowledge are to share that knowledge with others always using the word of God accurately. We are to exhort one another and hold each other accountable in love. “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet." Matthew 5:13

The Christian body of believers has the most powerful and truth-filled message to give to the world, yet we are not seeing evidence of that today. In America, Christians are still the majority, 73%. When it comes to the Gospel, there is no valid excuse or reason for a powerless body of believers in Christ. "For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power." -- 1 Corinthians 4:20

"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3. On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States. As we celebrate with food and fireworks, let us remember and examine the direction our country is taking. If we begin to clean house and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear our prayers and heal our land.

The Christian faith was solidly planted in the foundation of America for centuries, but we also know that much has changed. Why are more and more people staying away from organized church? Could that have to do with its lack of relevancy in the world today?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
