After the victory of Israel in Gibeon, an army of over four hundred thousand men rises against Israel. This became the decisive battle for the conquest of the Promised Land.

In the outcome of this battle and the establishment of the tribes of Israel, we see a parallel of the way God works in our lives, by giving us victory over sin through Jesus and working in us day to day through the Holy Spirit.
