A Pew Research study finds America three times more divided than in 2009. Americans are not happy, and they have lost a common cultural denominator. Is it President Obama’s fault, or is it President Trump’s fault? Or . . .is it God? Kevin Swanson runs through the generational divide, the gender divide, and the cultural/minority divide. . . and communicates the data on what could be the greatest political and national unraveling in our history. The answer to this milieu again. . . is to be found in the church.

How can those who have abandoned the Gospel’s power survive in the same denomination with those who still believe in it? The ignoring of the powerful work of God, the law of God, the horrific character of sin, the holiness of God, and the Gospel is taking its toll on the Methodist church. Sometimes, there are very dangerous people that show up in church and become the next series of Alexander the Coppersmiths. What does a church do in times like these? Preach hard, hold on to the Gospel tight, and obliterate humanist post-Christian literature and media from your home.

Two stories come into our newsroom simultaneously, rich in symbolism. 70% of millennials are relying on income from parents to uphold their lifestyles . . . and, the Social Security fund is bankrupt in just 16 years. But, where did the breakdown in character occur? Did the baby boomers give birth to the millennials, and how did it happen? However, the good news comes in when we realize the real root problem . . . because then, we find the solution.

Homeschooling parents in Cuba have been thrown in jail. Canadian parents are losing their 14-year-old children to the state transgender machine. Chinese churches and parents face prison for giving their children a Christian education. Now, the same battle is being waged in Colorado and Washington State. Yet, islands of freedom have developed. Will parents continue to defend these islands? The alternative is unthinkable - the destruction of our children at the hands of the state.

The conservative creationism movement has seen a bit of schism-ism of late with the flat earth theory gaining a little traction in the community. As conservative Christians seek to move further right, or east as it were, they find themselves holding to increasingly eccentric doctrines. Does this give the glory to God, or is there some other principle working? We interview Pat Roy and Kyle Justice, producers of a new film on the flat earth theory called "Faith on the Edge." We look at some of the biblical verses that seem to indicate a flat earth, and the scientific explanations on either side.

The most dangerous years in the lives of children raised in the church are the junior and high school years. That’s when young people begin to doubt and to make plans to leave. And, the most dangerous subjects in the junior high and high school years are history and literature. That’s because worldviews play heaviest in these subjects. Math and grammar aren’t as important. Every parent should be very concerned over the type of liberal arts teachers bringing these subjects to their kids in charter schools, classical schools, or co-ops. The battle of ideas is most intense when it comes to liberal arts curriculum. Liberal arts colleges, including those that call themselves Christian, are almost without exception the most liberal, opposing Scriptural view of ethics, reality, the nature of man, etc. at the most key points. We offer curriculum at our lowest prices, and we’re throwing in free postage, until the end of Friday. Generations curriculum is 50-80% lower than the typical prices you pay for other curriculum on the market.

So much of the quality of our relationship hinges on our communication. How do parents correct, rebuke, affirm, and just converse with their children? How do you communicate when things are a little frosty around the edges? You will appreciate this very powerful interview with Bill Smith, author of the new book “Parenting with Words of Grace.” This content only applies to our homes and our relationships every waking hour of the day!

Why do so many worship leaders look so “gay”? That’s the subject matter of a recent blog. Is there a lack of repentance? Or is it a lack of God’s authority? Are we stuck with weak forms and a weak faith? The influence of romanticism leaves us with homosexuality, effeminacy, simplistic emotional highs, and no real substance of faith, worship, truth, and life. We take a look at a “Call to Repentance” composition from Keith Green during the height of the Jesus movement. There is a vast difference between singing how we feel and singing what we believe.

A pastor of a Bible Presbyterian Church is booted after calling homosexuality a sin and inviting a little persecution. Are the goats outnumbering the sheep these days? Meanwhile, Australia’s #4 Rugby player is kicked out of the league for calling sinners to repentance. Here are several examples of courage in a homosexualized, compromised, wimpified, faithless age. Here are some refreshing stories, including rugby star, Israel Folau’s confession: “I love playing footy. . . But my faith in Jesus Christ is what comes first.”
