Humanism has virtually killed the Christian faith in Europe, but a faithful remnant made it back into the war of the worldviews over the last two generations. Our backs are against the wall, but we are fighting back and gaining ground! Here, Kevin Swanson points to the ten most impacting books written by Christians in the last 100 years, that represent a return to Christian thought in the war of the worldviews. The purpose of this program is to give some honor to men who went before us in the 1900s. These are the thinkers that introduced or re-introduced the ideas of worldview, antithesis, and distinctive Christian thought while humanism was eroding the foundations, destroying the family, and fragmenting the culture in the west.

The Marxist has written his designs on society to include the destruction of the family in order that they can destroy the private ownership of property.  They understand correctly that the two concepts of property and family are inexorably linked.  As long as there is a Biblical family there will be private property and where there is no private property the family is endangered.   That is why the strategy of usurping the families God-given functions in the areas of child training, economic production and charity have been pursued so vigorously.   Dave Buehner guest hosts with Steve Vaughn to discuss how God’s blueprint for family life is comprehensive including: economics, inheritance, care for the elderly, education, chastisement, charity, household formation and much more.  Only when God’s designs are followed can one expect to receive God’s blessing of life to the full.

Meanwhile, Texas is hiring male administrators in public schools to spank 15-year-old girls. Should public schools administer spanking or birth control pills? Should children leap to conclusions based upon highly-tenuous, highly-debatable, highly presupposition-weighted "evidence" from some guy in a white lab coat? Revolutionary changes in birth control, abortion access, and socialist medicine are happening as we speak! Obamacare is widening access to abortifacients and morning-after pills through schools and businesses. Now schools across the country are able to provide morning-after pills and sterilization to 14-year-old girls without their parents' permission. The differences in worldviews are getting even more pronounced. The world is killing off its young; we're not.

What is God's plan for the discipleship of the nations? Did the Apostles reach the "kids" with a Vacation Bible School? Or was there something more intensive going on with discipleship? Did they reach the fathers and mothers, and teach the fathers to bring their children up in the nurture of the Lord?
