University Threatens To Excommunicate Student
Homosexuality and Gender Neutral Bibles
A public university in Augusta, Georgia threatens to excommunicate (dismiss) a student who refuses to change her views on homosexuality. Demanding that the student attend a “gay pride” event and get re-educated, the university is committed to their orthodoxy and will not tolerate this “terrible” form of heterodox thinking. This leads to a discussion on church discipline.
The prevailing orthodoxy of the day seems to be in the direction of homosexuality and gender neutral Bibles. Kevin Swanson also comments on the direction set by Zondervan as they scrap the old NIV in favor of a gender-neutral NIV. The Marxist ideology is pressing hard to capture the entire evangelical church.
