The most religious candidate in the 2020 elections is turning out to be Mayor Pete Buttigieg — who also happens to be the homosexual candidate. In fact, quotations from the Bible are much more common among these candidates than they were from presidents serving in the 1830s and 1840s. Whence all this religious talk? What is this religion that finds a few proof texts here and there in the Bible? And, why do they feel so inclined to use the Bible?
