The Collapse of Evangelicalism - How to Restore Christian Faith

July 16, 2021

The latest PRRI data is out on American Christianity. Evangelicalism has dropped from 30% participation in 1992 to 7% with the millennial generation. And, only about half of those attend church regularly. At the end, Catholics (presidents and prime ministers) now control the leading Western nations—America, England, France, and Canada. Evangelicals have lost their influence. But why? What happened to the Christian worldview as best represented by the evangelicals? Or, did they ever represent a true Gospel?

The San Francisco Homosexual Choir performs a little number threatening to convert our children to the devil. The only trouble is that our children are already born in sin. They don’t need to be converted to the devil. They need to be discipled by godly parents who will introduce them to Jesus, and encourage a conversion to Christ. We take a look at the homosexual worldview, the modern ethic of “kindness, niceness, tolerance, etc.” Then, we do an etymological study of the word “gay” and realize the word as always connoted vanity fair, licentiousness, and the like.

A Christian homeschool dad and businessman, Phillip Zodhiates, was arrested and imprisoned for three years, for righteousness’ sake. When his support for Christian causes touched off the wrath of the enemy, he would have to pay the price. Here is an exclusive interview with Phillip on his release. What does persecution look like? How does God turn a trial into a blessing, with conversions and discipleship opportunities abounding in the prison itself? What can we learn from these first persecutions to visit America?

The world was 67% rural in 1960. Now it’s about 47%. In about 20 years, that will be about 33%. Does that mean our nation will be 67% blue-voting Democrat? Is it over for conservativism, family values, and rural living? What has dyed the cities blue? But why do the cities first liberalize, and then die from the inside? We provide best answers we can get for these questions about the plight of America and the world.

Hobby Lobby points out America's Christian heritage, and that's got all the atheists in a lather. But even among Christians, there is a dread fear to even think about applying any biblical law to politics or any other area of life (except for the personal). It's hard when you are (at present) on the losing side of the cultural war. The enemy throws up accusations of dominionism or theocracy, and other undefined words, and then they burn the straw men down. We define these terms and explain that Jesus really does rule, and God does too.

Christianity Today issues an article sharply curtailing Christian liberty in relation to gun ownership. The article is a good example of red herrings, non sequiturs, eisegetical biblical argument, etc. But at root, the religion presented by CT is the wrong one—the wrong view of man, the wrong view of sin, and the wrong view of the Christian life.

Will a friendly government official visit your front door with an mRNA shot in hand for you and your family? We are set back in a spell of amazement at the sheer government power and the trust in government needed to produce 3.5 billion inoculations in a mere 6 months. While we would respect liberty to make the choice to vaccinate or not to, the unhealthy levels of trust in man will not yield good fruit. Shall we dismiss long-term effects so easily?

Christianity in the West is dying out one generation at a time and one family at a time. Here, Voddie Baucham asks the question, “Can Faith Survive in a Post-modern Culture?” Combining the problems of sinking birth rates and the inability of families to pass along their tepid faith to the next generation, the U.S. church is facing a severe decline. But there is hope for the salvage of the Christian church in the West as the faithful submit both their doctrine and practice to the authority of the Word of God.

The five richest businesses in America are mostly fluff, and extremely unstable persons are running them. The leaders of the 2020s are nowhere near the stable and responsible leaders of the 1970s. This is what the end looks like, as real productivity and true value is of little interest to the modern investor. The Price to Earnings are now in the O-zone, and the federal government is 35-fold the tyranny it was 100 years ago. We tell you what’s really going on in your world today, and address the obvious questions. If there were a return to sanity, what would the government do? What should you do?

So what are the differences between the Ancient Greek Olympics and modern Olympics? A little more clothing, egalitarian sports, and transgender madness. And that's about it. The abandonment of God's law will end the Me-Too movement in utter frustration, not to mention the feminists and transgenders, who themselves can't get along with each other anymore. Women want to be in the same roles as men in every employment and athletic competition. . . except for the fact that they don't. Men who want to be women want to be in the same roles as women in every employment and athletic competition. . . except for the fact that the women don't want them too. . . but they're not supposed not want them to, because everybody is supposed to be okay with choosing your own gender.

Churches are fracturing over homosexuality now, and the largest corporations are almost without exception making their proper prostrations to the god of sodomy. We carefully analyze the worldview of a deodorant advertisement. Women are no longer nurturers—they must be fierce and cruel. But most importantly, one must assume the arrogance and pride to define one's own sexual and gender identity—and don't sweat the guilt with this deodorant!
