Pseudo--Christian Worldviews

April 12, 2010
Do you have a biblical worldview?
Some that purport to give a Christian worldview can hardly be seen as all that much different from Muslim worldviews or Humanist worldviews at base. After all, it is possible to pro-life or anti-evolution, and of an entirely different worldview/religious persuasion entirely. Here Kevin Swanson interviews James McDonald, sponsor of the Midwest Christian Worldview Conference on what it is to be a Christian, hold to a Christian worldview, and live it out.

What Does God know about Taxes? While pretending to fix the economy, those in power seem more committed to dismantling the economy. With half of Americans paying not a dime in income tax, and 10% paying 73% of the taxes, we wonder how long such a system can survive. Still many others receive preferential treatment through government programs, subsidies, and bailouts. What to do with a thorough-going fraudulent system like this? For Christians, it's time to limp back to the Bible for God's wisdom. Kevin Swanson draws from the biblical wisdom relating to taxes, assuming God has more knowledge concerning economic systems, than even Karl Marx.

The Harsh Cold World of Socialism Kevin Swanson interacts with Chuck Baldwin’s recent article, “The Dates that Destroyed America.” If you believe in the integrity of the family, moral principles, and freedom, you would be disappointed with what happened to one nation since 1776. America was a grand experiment in liberty, but it didn’t last as long as some believe it did. Socialism brought a breakdown of human relationships, a breakdown of the family, and a breakdown of freedom. It’s legacy is a cruel and harsh world.

Walt Whitman, Nathaniel Hawthorne, et al. The ideas of the 19th century have come to fruition in the 20th and 21st centuries, thanks to the high school literature class. Unfortunately, some students pay attention to the “great literature” of the great humanist empires. Kevin Swanson interacts with the ideas that destroyed the Christian faith in American literature, and presents a better way to teach children (for the last few Christians left in the west).

How to Fix Mexico and South Africa About 10% of the Boer farmers in South Africa have been shot to death since 1994. Anarchy reigns in Mexico, and its starting to seep over the Texas border. Sadly, governments like South Africa and Mexico have forfeited the right to govern, and have given way to increased levels of anarchy and vigilantism. So how does one fix a mess like that? Kevin Swanson repudiates racism and the notion of race on this edition of Generations, while suggesting a fix for social ills and cultural sins found in nations around the world.

Interview: Senator Bill Armstrong You don’t have to be a Marxist to be a college professor, but it helps! That’s the impression most of us have about higher education today. There seems to be a real disconnect between higher education and the Christian worldview, and the “conservative” values of the average American citizen. Here Kevin Swanson interviews Colorado Christian University President and retired U.S. Senator, Bill Armstrong on the state of college education in America. You’ll hear some shocking stories of what goes on in colleges today. Will Christian colleges equip young people with what it will take to lead this nation back towards the principles upon which she was founded? A stimulating discussion on this edition of Generations.

Jesus – Pretty Narrow and Way P.I. We hit a few politically incorrect topics on this edition of Generations, including Muslim beheadings in New York, Lesbianism and safe sex manuals for the Girl Scouts, etc. Kevin Swanson draws an important distinction between what is politically-incorrect and theonomically-incorrect. You'll discover that sometimes the Bible is non-partisan, and sometimes it favors the family-friendly, conservative crowd, on this edition of Generations.

Dangerous Child Training Philosophies An adopted, homeschooled child in California is beat to death, allegedly through consecutive "hours" of parental discipline. Aberrant readings of Scripture often do result in horrific effects, and Kevin Swanson issues due warnings on this edition of Generations. Out in the wild west of homeschooling, a little solid biblical balance in areas like theology, anthropology, and ethics could save a lot Christians a lot of heartache!

Fighting for Freedom in the USA, Canada, and Germany There are freedoms and then there are freedoms. Some are looking for freedom to zone out on pot. Some want freedom to fornicate with anything and everything. Some want the freedom to kill babies. Yet others want the freedom to obey God, be righteous, peacefully disciple their children, and maybe even issue out a little condemning language concerning those unrighteous things mentioned in the previous paragraph (above). So there is a battle going on, and the bad guys seem to be interested in persecuting the good guys. It's getting more dangerous for righteous people to survive in nations like Canada and Germany. Kevin Swanson interviews HSLDA Attorney, Mike Donnelly on the German family seeking Asylum, and the recent appeal made by the U.S. Government to send this poor family back. After all, (according to the U.S. Government), HOMESCHOOLING MAY SOON BE ILLEGAL IN AMERICA AS WELL!

Capitalizing on the Economic Decline It seems to be getting harder than ever to merge young men into life, especially with the economy as bad as it is. It would appear imprudent to rely on college to do the job for you. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner continue the discussion on what to do with boys, and how to shift current paradigms on raising boys to men.

Interview: Dr. Paul Cameron Get ready for some raw commentary on the moral state of this nation from a man who has been in the battle for 40 years! Dr. Paul Cameron, Chairman of the Family Research Institute, strips the facades away and presents the ugly side of homosexuality. What is presented as a beautiful thing by the Sodomite P.R. programs is shredding the moral fiber of the nation to pieces, and destroying the family.
