Putting Families Back Together
Generally, dysfunctionality breeds more dysfunctionality, and the family on a macro scale in America is soon to be no more. But occasionally families are salvaged, lives are put back together by the grace of God. Kevin Swanson interviews one family from a farm out in the middle of Missouri, that is doing what it can to train families in the principles of God's Word.

Practicing God's Law Exalts a Nation
Is a cop-killer in Washington another Huckabee clemency case? The governor from Arkansas is gaining the reputation of being too soft on crime.
Kevin Swanson speaks of his counsel he gave Huckabee's staff eight years ago concerning the prosecution of crime in the state Arkansas. Should a Christian ever make it into a position of authority in the civil magistrate, his agenda is pretty clear, and Kevin outlines this on today's Generations broadcast.

How Several Families Shook the Shackles
According to a study produced by the Societe Generale Bank in France, debt in the richest economies are destabilizing the world economy, and may precipitate a worldwide depression. We are not out of the woods yet, especially since America is still using debt to work its way out of its current recession. Aging populations, a failure of the national character, and the debt burden are combining to produce a "perfect economic storm."
Yet the macro economy is always made up of 100 million micro economies. So whether the future yields deflation or inflation, the message remains the same - GET OUT OF DEBT!
This broadcast features a panel discussion with several average, ordinary, middle-class families who made it to FREEDOM! Kevin Swanson also encourages micro-economies and micro-communities where the majority of families within churches are debt-free and mortgage-free on their homes.

Dying of Loneliness and Boredom
We live in the loneliest time in human history, at least in the last 1000 years. A higher percentage of people live alone or just live in cold, institutionalized setting than ever before. And it's bound to get even worse, especially with the elderly. In just 20 years, there will be 71 million retirees in America, twice the number in the country today.
Kevin Swanson conducts a vitally important interview with Carmen Bowman, consultant for elderly care, and an advocate for relational, individualized care for the infirmed and suffering elders in our communities. Carmen issues a passionate call for more families to visit these needy, lonely folks. Occasionally the rubber hits the road on this broadcast, and we get to the practical ways to love our neighbor as ourselves. May God bless your family with more love as you listen!

PETA Thanks God for Nothing
When you're not sure what your thankful for, why you should be thankful, and Who you should thank, let's face it, you're going to have a pretty dull thanksgiving.
Kevin Swanson refers to the PETA advertisement that NBC rejected, and comments on what it must be like to be a humanist who rejects God as good and as the One who defines good. Do you thank yourself for everything, or do you thank cosmic dust for being cosmic dust?
Yet for Christians, there is still the possibility of an absolute good, and a beautiful, thanksgiving filled with deep sentiments of warm gratitude.

More Dead Faith
A Catholic Bishop asks Patrick Kennedy, (Ted's son) to forgo communion, because of his position on killing babies, and Pat is not very happy about it. So goes the controversy.
But if we weren't just playing church and we were really holding the keys, would we really want to have communion with serial killers, rapists, and homosexuals? In this segment of Generations, Kevin Swanson discusses the importance of communion and meaningful spiritual accountability and leadership in the church. Faith without works is dead, and that goes for Patrick Kennedy too.

Why Evolutionists Give Way to Irrationality
Relativism hinges on evolution, and both open the door to irrationality in human thought and inquiry.
But do evolutionists really take the ultimate questions seriously? What am I? Am I just an unintended, highly-evolved piece of nothing?
Author Paul Myrant take the evolution debate where it really needs to go. It's time to stop playing patty-cake with pseudo-science and "evidence" that doesn't exist. Our discussions on evolution must lead to the deeper metaphysical questions. "Scientific commitment to naturalism and natural selection causes scientists to devote all, or at least most of their time and energy in defense of these anti-supernatural assumptions," says Myrant. Instead of remaining open-minded, they entrench themselves within their belief system and look for evidence that support their presuppositions.

What to do about it
Parents complain about their sullen, ungrateful, slothful teens, and wonder what to do about them. Even some home schooled graduates are still sitting around the house, supremely unmotivated and unfocused. Maybe they’ve rejected the idea of college, but Plan B is a little fuzzy, and they’re making choices that are even worse.
Kevin Swanson provides some simple biblical answers to these all-to-common problems.

As Modest as Dogs
University dorm rooms now allow opposite-gender roommates, and Miley Cyrus continues to lead the teeny-bopping 14 year old girls to maturity, which is another word for breaking the 7th commandment. With the world losing all concepts of modesty and sexual boundaries, Kevin Swanson suggests that it's time to drag out the old biblical standards, and re-examine them.
