Malachi Dads with Vision in Prison
70% of inner city kids are born without fathers. And 85% of those incarcerated in America come from single-parent homes. If America has the highest incarceration rate in the world, and children of incarcerated dads are 7X more likely to go to prison than other kids, then what do we have to look forward to in the next generation? Generational catastrophe!
In the ashes of this catastrophe, somebody is planting a garden. Somebody came up with the idea of bringing Malachi 4:6 into the most violent prisons in America. Kevin Swanson interviews Lyndon Azcuna, director of Awana's Lifeline program on this edition of Generations, in one of the most exciting interviews we've ever done. Guys doing 40 to life for armed robbery are loving their kids and teaching these precious children God's Word as they sit in a maximum security prison. Here is a beautiful message of reconciliation, fatherhood, discipleship, and God's grace.
