It's another blockbuster, and this time the children are going for it, hook, line and sinker. The Hunger Games netted $155 million in one springtime weekend! Peter Travers from Rolling Stone magazine sees the movie as exactly representing the zeitgeist of the age - "the mission to define yourself in a world that's spinning off its moral axis." Confused Christians are recommending the film to their friends on Facebook. But what would a Christian father think about such a film? Kevin Swanson reviews the film with his daughter Emily, and carefully examines the metaphysic, the meta-ethic, the gender roles, and the ethical conundrums from the perspective of God's Word. Is the Pied Piper of Hamlin slowly working the amoral, post-modern Zeitgeist into the minds of millions and millions of youths?

A new docudrama called "Gates of Hell" could be the most shocking and controversial film ever produced. Is there an ongoing genocide against black Americans that will create more societal unrest in the years to come? Violence generally begets more violence. Tyranny inspires anarchy until God’s law is followed. This makes for a very interesting discussion. Don’t miss this segment of Generations, folks!

Homeschooling families are fighting tooth and nail against a law requiring pro-homosexual indoctrination in Alberta homeschools. Meanwhile, a court in Missouri is enforcing access to homosexual pornography in that state’s public schools. Also, the Obama administration is doing what it can to encourage fornication on college campuses (including Christian colleges).

The Director General of the World Health Organization now speaks of "the end of modern medicine as we know it." Is there an anti-biotic crisis approaching? Is the solution more government, or more fear of God? Kevin Swanson disagrees the Director General on the solution to the present crisis, on this edition of Generations. Tragedies like the Costa Concordia unveil the true nature of the modern male, and the fruits of egalitarian worldviews. The Captain abandoned ship, and the Italian crew shoved the pregnant women out of the way as they clambered into the lifeboats. So much for women and children first! Even the secular press was appalled at the behavior of these men. This was not the case with the Titanic. In fact, three men from the steerage who tried to make the Titanic lifeboats in front of women and children were shot! Coincidentally, they all three were Italian. On the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, Kevin Swanson interviews Douglas Phillips on the loss of chivalry and the collapse of civility.
