These are the most perilous times of all, especially in the Western nations — if you are thinking in spiritual terms. These are exceedingly dangerous times with four major contributing factors working. We provide a spiritual modus operandi, strategically laid out in the later-dated Epistles. But, the real question. . . why have Christian churches abandoned the assembling together, especially when it comes to the evening service and the prayer meetings? That’s practically suicidal, now!

The 2020 Grammys came and went, but nobody really noticed. Kevin Swanson contrasts Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston with Billy Eillish, and it’s not just the green hair. 1 John 2:17 repeats itself again and again, especially marked over the last five years. A brief movie review on “Just Mercy” follows.

Superbugs. Pandemics. Nuclear threats. The world is proud and panicked at the same time. . . a sense of impregnability and precariousness in tandem. The world sits in a far more precarious situation than ever before. Contributing factors include the centralization of population and the internationalization of the world, as well as the worldwide unleashing of evil and the institutionalization of the grossest sins. But, how do Christians respond to pandemics?

Satan roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Does God really mean these warnings we find in Hebrews, Jude, and 2 Peter? Is this a high-stakes war we wage? What happens to a church that is not watchful and prayerful? Kevin Swanson interviews Pastor Brian Hedges, author of "Watchfulness -- Recovering a Lost Spiritual Discipline."

Scientists paid Mexican women for artificially insemination, and then they killed their babies. President Trump signs a bill to put a kid in prison for 7 years for drowning a lizard. And, now scientists tell us that all those babies aborted over the last fifty years that weren’t supposed to have felt pain. . . felt pain. What is the root issue? The fundamental problem is that public school kids, private school kids, and homeschool kids are not taught science in the fear of God. The consequences are tragic.

The worldwide birth dearth has accelerated in just the last ten years, and demographers are puzzled. Why the big dip, despite the non-recessionary, economic boom time? South Korea, Japan, China, Europe, and the United States are facing massive birth implosions, but America’s drop was larger than South Korea, China and Japan’s over the last ten years. But, what does the Bible say about birth control? We provide a list of critical verses that tie in.

In a recent survey, Americans register the most concerning element of the family is the failure of parental discipline and teaching. The problem is found in the generally-accepted post-modern worldview, the common zeitgeist of relativism. Relativist parents make for bad, inconsistent, flip-flopping parenting. Where does authority come from, and what defines right and wrong? Basic theological commitments matter. We also discuss the relationship of Gospel and Law in parenting.

With the rash of movies recently produced on the Fox News scandals, this from the best-of Generations programs speaks to the root problems. Nobody was very surprised when Fox News Channel's previous administration folded under the weight of multiple sexual harassment scandals. The sexual objectification and soft porn that characterized the Fox News website gave us a sense of the management of the organization. We take a look at what the Bible says about sexual innuendo, sexual harassment, and the slight differences between the hypocrisy of Fox News and the hypocrisy of CNN. Comparing hypocrisies on this edition of the program, including that of the Church of Scotland.

Guest host Adam McManus chats with Becket Cook, a former homosexual, about his life story encapsulated in his book entitled “A Change of Affection: A Gay Man’s Incredible Story of Redemption.”
Brett McCracken, of the Gospel Coalition, wrote, “Ten years ago, Becket Cook was a [homosexual] man in Hollywood who had achieved great success as a set designer in the fashion industry. He worked with stars and supermodels, from Natalie Portman to Claudia Schiffer, traveling the world to design photo shoots for the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. He attended award shows and parties at the homes of Paris Hilton and Prince. He spent summers swimming in Drew Barrymore’s pool. A decade later, Cook has moved on from that life—and he doesn’t miss it.
“What changed for Cook? He met Jesus. On a momentous day in September 2009, while drinking coffee with a friend at Intelligentsia in L.A.’s Silver Lake neighborhood. Cook started chatting with a group of young people sitting at a nearby table—physical Bibles opened in front of them. They were from a church called Reality L.A.”
Listen to the incredible testimony of how God saved Becket’s soul and empowered him to walk away from homosexuality. Plus, learn about whether there is such a thing as a “homosexual Christian”, why homosexuals really march in “pride” parades, and how you can reach out to the homosexuals in your life with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
A graduate of Talbot School of Theology, Becket speaks around the country on the importance of churches and Christians addressing this inescapable cultural issue from a Biblical perspective. You can book him at becket@becketcook.com.
