Drug Use Rising Higher and Higher in U.S. - Escape from God’s Reality
So you thought the 1960s were bad? The percentage of Americans who have “ever tried” marijuana has risen from 4% to 40% since 1969. In the 1960s, Francis Schaeffer talked about the escape from reality and the crossing over of the line of despair. The crossover is almost complete now. The use of mind-altering drugs among Americans (either on the street or over-the-counter) is on the increase. What does this mean for the country? People live out their world views, so what is that worldview?
