Why are humans in this world? That depends on what theory or composition of theories or worldview you accept. The fact remains: what we believe about the issues of life will be reflected in the culture. For now, it seems that the world is divided in different worldviews.  For over six thousand years humans have struggled in answering the most basic questions of life. What is real and what is not real? Is there a God or many gods or is the material world all there is? How would you answer these questions?

In the parable of the mustard seed we are taught through that analogy that the full and flourishing Kingdom of God begins with the smallest of seeds in us but in time it grows. When we fully understand that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ we should never cower in the face of adversity of challenge to defend and implement God's truth. The disarray in the world today is because not enough of God's people are not stepping out in courage to conquer for the Kingdom of God as we are expected.

The challenges we are facing today have happened before in human history because humans have the same tendencies.  The only thing that has changed is technology.  In every instance and challenge, God has always required His people to step up to the plate and bat for Him, so to speak, to preserve and perpetuate His truth.  This has always required a high price since we have to lay down our lives in His service.

Ancient weapons are as deadly as the modern counterparts (assault weapons) and no man’s law should limit the scope and range of lethal weapons. The Israelite civilians had weapons no different than the ones the army had. It makes perfect sense; the weapons the armed forces use are the most effective for defending life and property. Defense clearly means the use of the weapons available.

God is serious about protecting the life of individuals.  In this series we are seeing what He has to say about people's right to self-defense.  The right to self-defense is equal to the victim's right to life and property protection.  There does not need to be any confusion about this issue since God's word is very clear on the subject and so should God's people be.

The fight for gun control is not going away anytime soon.  In America, we would do well to heed the warnings coming from other nations such as England and Russia to not give up our guns because this seems to be a first step in a pattern of totalitarian governments whose goal is to enslave their citizens.  Please don't say "not in America".

I must clarify that Jesus never ordered his disciples to advance the Kingdom of God through the use of arms or by force, like Islam did.  From the beginning of Islam their prophet Mohamed established those means of dominance; it is in their writings. The Gospel of the Kingdom of God is all about the greatest good news humanity hopes to know. God’s principles work in the here and now; we do not have to wait for the hereafter.

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.

About Nena Arias

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
