The State Cannot Stop Crime Part 1

The crime statistics are staggering and we must ask ourselves why crime it is so rampant. All of us are at high risk to be violated against in some form or another. We are reaping the consequences of turning our back on godly virtues and right ethics. We err in believing that all we need to have an orderly society can be provided by the State. The State cannot stop crime, because it cannot stop the evil that in in the heart of the individual.

Wicked laws and policies are the main cause of internal ruin. The accumulative wicked laws and policies of previous administrations will take a toll on a nation. Here is a question from the Psalmist: “Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute? Psalm 94:20. Who is responsible to undo those wicked and perverse laws? We the people and no one else is responsible. When God’s people understand the meaning of God being the priority in their lives. A society can change through enormous effort to engage in an unrelenting cultural war to eradicate error.

Is it possible for Christians in America to recuperate God’s Law in what seems like a lost nation? The optimistic answer is yes. The flip side to that optimism is the question, if Christians in America have grown cold and hard against God’s Law-Word, and are they open to acknowledge that the nations conditions is in relation to their rejection of God’s Standards?

Faithfulness in teaching God’s Word will prompt people to change their unpleasing ways before God. Historically when this happens people begin to work the long plan of national restoration; this includes the monetary system. They begin to see money not as a god to be loved but something to be used accroding to God’s system which is His only delight.

The tax burden upon the American people is insane. We might as well admit reality that we are enslaved by our government. Individuals in government have no heart for their fellowman no matter how much they want to portray in their speeches that they do. The only way out of this mess does not depend on who is in the White House but if this nation is going to return back to God's principles for right living.

When the pastors, or church leaders refuse to teach and apply God’s law they steal from people all of God’s benefits, and everyone suffers including the nations. This makes it impossible to implement justice to make lasting and solid progress.

When God’s moral law is lowered or ignored so goes people’s morals and the morals of the nation. Instead of knowing God’s law they neglect it and learn from unrelated sources in their endeavor to understand and teach. This is not only a bad move but a fatal one for the people and the nation.

Have you ever asked yourself why with 86% of Americans claiming to be of the Christian faith, all the churches, Christian book stores, 24/7 Radio and TV, Christian schools, colleges and universities we see no significant cultural change? When we compare this to the history of the pulpits of the colonies that brought forth such an exceptional experiment of a nation, the difference is quite extraordinary. Is it possible to regain the impact of true faith in God and rid ourselves of mere religiosity?

American had never seen in our lifetime so much moral decay all across the board as in the past six or seven decades. Can we ask God to bless America with a righteous government when the whole nation is corrupt? What kind of government, according to God, do you think we deserve?

All people and nations desire a liberator. However, they look to men to fill that void when Christ is the true liberator and has already secured our freedom. Every individual is commissioned and equipped to contribute something useful to the world; their failure to do this impoverishes humanity. When a nation is in disarray, what is the solution? Another question we must answer is: who is responsible for the condition of the nation, rulers or the people?

When you study the collapse of great civilizations you will always notice their collapse was not for the lack of well armed forces or foreign invasions but by the destruction from within.
