The Lack of Unity in Christianity Part 2

September 16, 2010
We are to edify the body of Christ with the qualities that God has invested in each of us. The times greatly demand good leadership in all areas of life and God's people were commanded to be "salt and light" to a dying world. The great denominational divisions have created huge gaps making unity impossible under these circumstances. We must understand how we can build one another up that we may arrive at the point of the needed agreement to arrive at unity.

This is God's instruction when it comes to the unity in the Body of Christ: “With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:2-6).

What could have meant so much in the minds and the lives of those terrorists to cause them to commit suicide in such a horrific way and to cause the deaths of thousands of innocent victims? Ideas have consequences of great and lasting impact. The repercussions of that event continue pounding at the national life of the United States of North America and the world. What can we continue to learn from something so ominous?

The coming together of believers is a powerful gathering, not just a meeting to be present but to accomplish greater things as they agree to understand the knowledge of God and how that knowledge should be applied in all areas of life and change the culture of darkness for the culture of God’s light.

Are you aware that every thought that comes into your mind and every message that your senses receive stays with you and impacts you either positively or negatively? Unless you process every message through the filter of your value system and accumulated truth that you have stored in the recesses of your mind you will bear the consequences of your passivity. There are many distorted concepts that have been passed on by so called Bible authorities that most Christians take them as gospel truth when in reality they are false and not at all compatible with God's perspective on things. Unless the church of our generation reforms we will not see victory in our generation from God's perspective.

Since we are created in God’s own image our desires have no limits; but we must not forget that sinful nature has put a limit to those desires and we must be very careful that we don’t cross those boundaries. The god of money offers a religion that makes men believe that they are on the throne. It also makes men believe that they can get more through whatever means until they are satisfied but without negative consequences. However, history reveals that destruction is the payoff of that uncontrolled desire which also ends up harming many generations.

Jesus asked a fair question, “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?” (Matt. 6:27). What is he saying? Anxiety does not give you the freedom to think right, act right and produce good results; to the contrary, it devastates you and stifles your God given capacity to be productive. Jesus wants us to know that it is God who is the true source of all the good blessings that come from him.

Which God are we going to honor, God or the god of money? Since we are created in God’s image He expects us to conform to His image in knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. It is He who chooses us to be recipients of His blessings if we remain loyal to Him, but if we don’t he has every right to be angry at our foolishness and we must know that in time the sanctions of our foolishness will manifest themselves. How can we dare to think that it is acceptable to God for us to worship other gods or that we will get away with allowing them to usurp His place in our hearts?

Are we facing an unspeakable financial catastrophe lurking just around the corner? Can the government solve this financial crisis? Who is to blame for the financial condition of the country? Does anyone have an answer to all of this financial turmoil? There are so many questions and just as many confusing answers. One fact remains true, people are very scared. Should Christians be among those who are panicking?

Most of us know that America is at a crossroad. Her future is being decided and most definitely it is decision time for all of us who have made her our home whether by birth or naturalization. This was the sentiment and purpose of the multitude of over 500,000 people in attendance on Saturday, August 28th at the mall in Washington D.C. The emphasize was, America, let's get back to God and implement His principles in all areas of our lives. Don't demand from others what you are not willing to do. We have no one to blame but ourselves for the deplorable condition of our nation. Is there a solution to save the soul of our country? Absolutely, and let us begin with accepting our individual responsibility.

In our last program, we concluded that God rules over the affairs of men and nations whether they accept or reject His moral laws. This is the main reason why we should not even think that God is inclined toward any political party. However, He expects that believers and nonbelievers obey His moral standards; no exceptions.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
