Not Born to be a Loser, Part 1

June 25, 2014
I do not know what your broad understanding of what a loser is. A person may look like a winner in every sense of the word and not know he or she is a loser. On the other hand, a person may look like a loser and yet he or she is far from being one. Jesus said a loser is one who involves in something that is bound to fail. (Luke 9:23-26)

We can expect to achieve great things as we self-discipline our new life in Christ. Can you imagine what world we could have if every born again believer in Christ understands this unchanged truth? You cannot wait for others to train you in developing God’s Character it is a task you must do. It has to be your choice to reach this goal in this life to your higher calling in Christ. Obedience is the fuel of self-discipline.

We are in the threshold of an all out war between the worldviews: Ideas do have consequences because all ideas are not equal! What we are seeing and hearing in all this confusion is a prelude of things to come.  Sadly, humans look to the great scientific and technological, philosophical, political and economic progress with all their benefits as the means for human salvation.

God is interested in communicating to His people what lies ahead.  An example of this is that God, through the prophet Isaiah (700-800 years BC) revealed in detail the purpose of Christ' coming and the establishment of God’s superior worldview through His birth, government, crucifixion, resurrection and earth’s complete restoration.  God is still at work and looks to let His people know what they are to accomplish in every generation.

All worldviews have similar ideas that cause them to have optimism that they will have the final dominant belief in religion, social, intellectual and political arenas that will make the world a better place. Keep in mind that only one has passed the true test of history, God’s worldview.

The dominant worldviews are Christianity, Judaism, Marxism, Islam, New Age, Humanism, and Postmodernism. Another factor to consider is that every worldview within itself is highly fragmented and divided. This is one of the reasons for the raising idea of a worldview that will unify humanity into one big happy family of nations. It will happen, but not according to man’s worldview.

In our broadcast, The Future of America  we have presented the importance of a worldview from different perspectives. By worldview we understand to mean how a person or social group interprets the world according to the beliefs about life, social institutions, the material world, the universe and even death.  Our worldview influences the way we understand and respond to the world we live in.

In order for us to understand the person and the work of the Holy Spirit from the beginning of creation to our we must know His rightful place in the Godhead. The truth about the Godhead has not been easy for the mind of man to comprehend beyond his logic. The plurality of God (ELOHIM) can be seen throughout Scripture. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one in splendor, and one in love and grace. When we embrace the Holy Spirit we are embracing God Himself.

How important was the involvement of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' unique life? To begin with, his conception as a human was brought about by God's Holy Spirit,(Luke 1:26-56) without the intervention of a human father or Mary's egg/ovum. Impossible? Says who? Man or God? Let us not forget it is God, who created both the physical universe and the laws of nature, He can also momentarily suspend them to accomplish His redemptive plan for humanity. He will do the same in our lives if we work with Him.

What do you think, are we to be "ordinary" Christians, or extraordinary, just like Jesus was and is? Is Jesus the role model for our lives in everything and for all generations or just for the first generation of Christians under the apostles? Do we believe those who were with Jesus and Paul, who was recruited by Jesus at a later time, or the ones now who deny the full supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit in every believer?

Understanding the coming of the Holy Spirit to indwell the believers to empower us to more Christ-like. Do we need less of the fullness of the Holy Spirit with power and fruits than the apostles and believers of the 1st Century?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
