The mainstream media has long been an enemy of Christianity. The liberal media is now celebrating judicial tyranny in the jailing of Mrs. Davis for standing for her faith and, like a pack of ravenous wolves, they are going after conservatives to trick them and supposedly expose them to see if they side with Mrs. Davis’ position. This has worked for some, but with others it has backfired. Bottom line is that it is now open season on Christians in America.

Kim Davis is the elected Rowan County Kentucky clerk. She was sent to jail for a crime she did not commit. As a matter of fact, she was in total compliance with the U.S. Constitution, Kentucky’s Constitution and, most importantly, God’s moral law. Mrs. Davis was acting in total conformity with the law. Who do you think is in violation of the law, Kim Davis or Judge David Bunning?

How do we know God's voice? Where do ideas come from? Strange voices can come in the most common circumstances and sound so convincing and we can be led astray into horrible situations and suffer great pain and loss if we are not tuned into the right voice. The worst loss is distancing ourselves from God which is sure destruction.

When a society is dominated by lies, and Revealed Truth exposes those lies, it is to be expected that lies unite to fight against Revealed Truth. What is Revealed Truth? In a nutshell: it is what God Reveals to be True. Very simple, yet after two thousands years since Christ came we are not any closer to embracing God's Revealed truth. Even when speaking of the Revealed Truth, it can also be used to distort it. Discernment must come from outside of the mind of man, and this is the job of the Holy Spirit, ours is to work in unity with Him as well as with the Father and the Son.

Being evil is a choice. America’s problem is her godlessness. We have rejected God and we are reaping the rotten fruit that all godless civilizations reap. Our country has left godly values aside and we now find ourselves in a desperate spiritual state. Individuals are making evil choices and not because the environment is bad. We must face the reality that rational people choose to do evil. Let’s not rationalize it any other way. A person’s soul, will and desires have everything to do with carrying out evil. People consciously push God out and let evil in.

Our national condition is of great concern. God is the God of love, but we must not overlook that He is also the God of justice. Anyone who thinks He doesn’t hate sin and that He will not penalize it, is dead wrong. God punished Jesus at the cross to redeem us from our sin. The people of God are the ones that God wants to use to bring restoration. We need enough people living God’s truth to have better understanding of how the world needs to live.

A declared commitment to the Lordship of Christ and his saving grace as well as accepting unconditionally the sovereignty of God’s moral absolutes, followed with daily progressive transformation by the renewal of the mind, can only produce great results.

Faith goes in both directions for and against God and His revealed truth. We must take notice that denial of God as Creator demands greater faith in how the universe, the world with all the physical laws came into existence than what the Bible requires from humans. Biblical Christians have no problem because they do believe in God, but humanist intellectuals have this dilemma that must be answered satisfactorily.

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
