Irrationality Blows Up

February 10, 2017

We are witnessing a high level of irrationality; all common reasoning or understanding has been trashed because some people didn’t get what they wanted in the presidential election. The bottom line for every one of us is to honestly answer if our reaction is rational or irrational and how does our behavior manifest under the light of good reason judged by history.

Change is inevitable, for thousands of years the question has always been what kind of changes. The biggest and most significant change for humanity took place 2,000 years ago with the coming of Jesus Christ to earth. The Founders understood that Biblical values are the foundation of this republic and that the republic would be destroyed if the people’s knowledge of those values would be lost.

"WE CANNOT READ the history of our rise and development as a nation, without reckoning with the place the Bible has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic ... Where we have been the truest and most consistent in obeying its precepts, we have attained the greatest measure of contentment and prosperity."--Franklin D. Roosevelt

The experimental form of government by our Founders is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. It is too bad that the Founders missed the opportunity to establish a full Biblical model of civil government. The Founders could have established a democracy in America but they decided not to. The Founders left no doubt that we were not to be a democracy at any time in our history. The majority of Americans are shocked at this.

Every generation has the responsibility to know what they believe as individuals and what their society and nation believes so they can interpret the times. In Luke 12:54-56, Jesus rebuked and admonished the crowd that they could interpret the signs on the earth and in the sky but they had no clue about the times they were living and what they were supposed to do.

There is much turmoil in our nation due to the fact that our true American values were lost long ago or their definition has long been distorted so people no longer know what our national position is on the issues of government, culture and moral values. How about you? How prepared are you to defend our national values?

The events in this country and the world are moving at such an accelerated pace that many are confused especially by the decisions being made by President Trump in his few days in office but that are in keeping with his campaign promises to the American people and exactly the reason why the people voted for him and he won on that platform. So, when a president does what he says he would do and does it, it is not just another change of administration. His or her leadership will be felt even in future generations.

If there is something that is very obvious in Donald Trump's race to the White House is all the opposition he had and many thought every time that he was down for the count, but he got up every time and now he is in the Oval office. The true measure of a leader is what it takes to stop him. Time to keep President Trump always in our prayers. Many want to depose him but only God can do that because He put him there. Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning."

At the early morning prayer service on inauguration day, Pastor Jeffress gave Donald Trump a sermon using the example of Nehemiah of the Bible as why he was so successful in building the wall and rebuilding the nation. Nehemiah refused to allow his critics to distract him. Someone has said there are three guaranteed ways to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing. Any true leader is going to face criticism. President-elect Trump, has had his share of critics from the day he announced he was running for President, but he confounded them at every turn. Was this Donald Trump's doing or is God in this?

Is Trump just another change of administration or does he look promising to be the real thing? These questions will be answered in time. For now let's begin by analyzing the inaugural celebration. Trump set a record for most prayers in the inaugural ceremonies. What does it all mean?
January 27, 2017
By now you know that Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States, which means there have been 44 prior administrations, and at the very beginning of each one of them people’s expectations of changes for the better have always been high. What does our history from 1789 to January of 2017 tell us? With few exceptions, a simple change of administration doesn’t solve problems; this should be a cause for serious thought.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
