Government is the god that always fails Part 1

October 10, 2011
From the dawn of history mankind has only had two choices of government: that of God or of man. The government of man can be a monarchy, tyranny, democracy, republic, socialistic, Marxist, Islamic, or any other philosophical and religious view. God’s government always has opposing views and results than that of man’s laws.

Just as Jesus was excited about multiplying Himself so too his followers must be excited at multiplying themselves in those who are being discipled to become sons and daughters of the living God. They all become a living, powerful force conquering evil in the world as they expand the Kingdom of God.

If God’s expectation from the beginning of creation was far greater, why do we even conceive that He has changed His mind about what He intended at the dawn of history? The battle that started at the Garden of Eden continues to rage between two opposing views of life. The earth is the cosmic battlefield between truth and lies, right and wrong, light and darkness, and where Christ defeated the enemy of God and man.

What should the world look like under the leadership of redeemed man who is renewed in the image of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit? What is God's expectation for His created order under man? Unless we fully understand this and act upon it we will disappoint God every time.

God did not change His original plan for the human race when Adam and Eve sinned.  Humans have continued doing things their own way thinking they are now exempt from having to obey God's order.  What make a person or a nation great?  It is character that makes people great.  And good character cannot be developed without God.  Those who think otherwise are chasing the wind and will ultimately be destroyed.

To understand our origin we must ask ourselves what we believe and why we believe it.  On what are we basing our ideas?  What is their origin and who inspired them?  How have they stood the test of time and circumstances?  If we do not answer these questions adequately we will be tossed like a leaf in the wind believing all kinds of unfounded ideas.  Humans are not capable of establishing a solid, unmovable foundation for life on their own.  No one is exempt from standing on the sidelines or apart from what Christ came to do for the human race and still expect to succeed.

It is important to take a look in retrospect to the nations and empires of the past to see what formed them and what has worked and what has failed.  Those that have failed is because they clearly have not done things according to principles that God can honor.  A clear example is the European Union that clearly said we are going to unite and do things our way; God is not invited.  Well, it is obvious that the EU is at the brink of bankruptcy and huge moral chaos.  How is that working for them?

Our earthly journey and how we live it either qualifies us or disqualifies us in the eyes of God and for His long range plan.  We are expected to endeavor to have a good understanding of God's foundation for all areas of life.  We are called to fulfill our Heavenly Father's good pleasure.  To do less is to miss the mark totally.

There are those who argue about the impossibility to fulfill the original cultural mandate given to Adam. They base it upon the sinful nature and the curse that obstructs its fulfillment. Are they right in their assessment? Are they right in accepting cultural defeat even though God has made provisions for His people to always be victorious?

From the beginning of creation man was to develop God’ culture. Every time you read about man’s cultural primitive life and how backward they seem to be in comparison with modern generations it is not because they are primates, rather, this reveals the effects of sin and separation from God that has resulted in human tragedy. This demise is not God’s original intent.

God's image in men did not change with the fall or due to the sinful actions of Adam and Eve and their descendants. To this day this is so.  That means that God's plan for victory in time and history has not changed. He is the Sovereign Ruler. Even though man thinks he is the sovereign ruler over the earth, he is not. Man was appointed as the administrator over God’s earth. Only God is the owner.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
