“Sin” is a word that has become taboo in today’s culture, hasn’t it? Even for Christians. We’ll sugarcoat the word with phrases like “I made a mistake” or “I fell into temptation” or “I messed up.” Instead of calling ourselves sinners we’ll call ourselves “victims of circumstance,” or “temporarily insane,” or—you’ve heard this one before—“merely human”! But in today’s message Pastor Stephen Davey will inform us that the mastermind behind our sin is never the devil or the world or circumstances . . . we are to blame.
