We all have expectations in life. We want a happy marriage, healthy kids, excellent health, a good income, a vibrant church, a great retirement plan—but our expectations aren’t always met. Great expectations can easily become great disappointments. They don’t take into account the unexpected: divorce, miscarriages, illness, bankruptcy, and the like. Pastor Stephen Davey uses the Apostle Paul’s example to teach us how to overcome disappointment resulting from our unmet expectations.
