Transcript for Blessed Are the Brokenhearted - Matthew 5:4

Once we discover the bankruptcy of our hearts, we are then led to mourn over our sin. And this is what Christ is talking about in Matthew 5:4 when He says, “Blessed are the brokenhearted, for they shall be comforted.” But mourning over our sin is only the first step on the path to hope, comfort, and forgiveness. The second step is taking it to Christ for the cure.
