Emily Dickinson once said, “I know nothing in the world that has as much power as a word. Sometimes I write one, and I look at it, until it begins to shine.”
In Scripture, certain words appear over and over again. Faith. Love. Grace. Redemption. Righteousness. Justification. These God-breathed words bring structure, depth and purpose into a world that is often chaotic, shallow and self-serving. When these words are ignored or misused, power leaks out of the Christian life. In his Divine Dictionary message series, Gordon Dabbs will help us look at these words until they shine.
If words have power, divine words have supernatural power to refresh and shape us.
