Instead of judging one another, the biblical exhortation is to judge ourselves so as to do nothing to hinder the growth and walk of other believers. Believers are reminded not to impose their personal preferences or conviction on others. Love is to be the motive for being sensitive to the convictions of others and the sacrifice it may call for as adjustments are made. The goal is for personal behavior to edify others, not to undermine or tear down their godly character.

Past, Present and Future Grace CD

The grace of God, past, present, and future is the believer's blessed hope. The grace of God has appeared in the person and work of Jesus Christ. That grace in the past provided salvation of sinners who will come to God by faith alone, in Christ alone. The grace of God for the present, "now age" teaches and enables saved sinners to live consistent with their new character. Being so taught the believer lives a life of worship and obedience anticipating the future grace of God to reappear in the person of Jesus Christ. When He does, He will complete the transformation of believer's lives into perfect conformity with His character. The world may be falling apart but our great God and Savior is coming again. With that great hope we, who have been saved by the grace of His first appearing, endure, persevere, and rejoice, as we await His glorious return.

About Gil Rugh

Gil Rugh attended Philadelphia College of the Bible and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, where he received his B.S. and M.Div. degrees, respectively. In the fall of 1969, Gil began a full-time teaching ministry as Senior Pastor of Indian Hills Community Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. During this time he earned his Ph.D. from the California Graduate School of Theology. The focus of Pastor Rugh's ministry is systematic, verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible. As a Bible teacher, his sermons and publications have been heard and read throughout the United States and in many countries around the world. Gil has written over 45 booklets and many papers on current Christian issues, Christian living and church doctrine.
