Rebuilding Family Economies Powerful Systems have been put in place in order to eliminate the possibility of family economies succeeding. They've worked to disintegrate family economies. In the 1930's, there were 7,000,000 families making a living in agriculture. Today, that number is closer to 1,000,000! Thanks to federal price controls, federal subsidies, preferential treatment for companies like Monsanto, and non-sustainable agricultural systems, the family farm is fast disappearing. Is the Family Farm Viable? That's the question that we posed on the internet, and the answer is coming back with a resounding, YES!!!!!! Kevin Swanson interviews Lance Seppi from the Seppi Family Honey Farm, and Robert Hutchins from Rehoboth Ranch, north of Dallas, TX. Here is one of the most eye-opening programs we have ever done on Family Oikonomia's. Teamwork. Debt-free living. Family integrity. Reliance on God. Sustainability. Family is breaking down. Agriculture is breaking down. Could these pioneering efforts on the part of these families mark the salvaging of both family and farming?

The Power of a Multi-Generational Vision Colorado was the first state to legalize abortion in 1967, but those dedicated to the life cause have dug in and are committed to a solid win at the end. After the pro-death crowd defeated the Personhood Amendment of 2008, you can imagine their disappointment to learn that the Amendment is back again in 2010! But we have news for these people. We're coming back in 2012, and 2014, and 2024, and 2044, and 2084. We've dug in, and we're going to work on this one for at least 130 years. Kevin Swanson interviews Cal Zastrow from Personhood USA, on the Colorado Amendment, on this segment of Generations.

American Syncretism and Experiencing Spirituality Christians are up in arms against Al Mohler for his recent article posted on Yahoo, attacking the Christianization of Yoga. Is this just another example of flimsy-flamsy American syncretism? This leads to a discussion on "spirituality" and the American pagan religion found in evangelical churches where people are seeking an experience and calling that worship. What is true Christian worship, and what does God really want from His people? How do you know you are worshiping the true God, and not running after a god of your own imagination?

Interview: John Stonestreet The depersonalization of man is inherent in a materialist worldview, and we have yet to see the fruits of this perfectly awful worldview operating through the bio-technology revolution. What will this weird, brave new world look like? John Stonestreet, Executive Director of Summit Ministries gets into some of the nitty gritty ethical issues relating to Stem Cells, Euthanasia, and In-Vitro Fertilization.

Mass Schools Observe Muslim Holiday Another 13-year-old girl commits suicide after she is sexted about six different schools, and the Massachusetts schools will observe a Muslim holiday for the first time in the 2011-2012 school year. But how do these schools compare to the old Puritan schools of the 1600s, and the old one-room schools of the 1800s? Homosexuality? Trans-sexual teachers? Sexting? Muslim holidays? Didn't Laura Ingalls Wilder have to deal with that sort of thing in her one-room-school house in 1895? What about those Christian parents who are still hoping that the schools aren’t so bad after all? Send this link to your friends who still send their children to the state-sponsored schools.

How to Preach Against Barack Obama (or Not) Did John the Baptist or Elijah lose their ministry 501(c)3 status when they began preaching against certain political leaders and policies in their day? No. Actually, John the Baptist did lose his head over it. But what about preachers and pastors today? Kevin Swanson interviews Randy Wilson, National Field Director for Church Ministries for the Family Research Counsel, on the pastors and politics. Should preachers stick to the "gospel" or preach politics?

Blasphemy Laws A museum down the road from where we broadcast is displaying art that blasphemes Jesus Christ. Will the next display present the "prophet" Mohammed in similar form? We all have blasphemy laws. It's just some minorities are easier to blaspheme than others in our present day. Senator Kevin Lundberg, representing the Loveland area, weighs in on the vile little piece by phone, on this edition of Generations.

The New Jersey Suicide Tyler Clementi, a man reputedly leading worship at an evangelical church in New Jersey, takes a leap off the George Washington bridge, after he was unwillingly "outed" on internet video for his homosexual behavior. The story has caused quite a stir across the nation. Occasionally, you will have somebody who is not willing to admit his sinful condition to brothers and sisters with whom he is in fellowship, and neither is he willing to be honest about the fact he wants to apostatize from the faith. The man feels caught, because of his inauthenticity on both accounts. These conditions become increasingly common in the present apostasy away from the Christian faith in the West. Kevin Swanson explains why a burned out heterosexual society will eventually turn into a burned out homosexual society. But what do Christian parents do about the rising trend of homosexual clothing, homosexual media, homosexual schools, and homosexual attitudes? How will churches avoid the inexorable slide into Gomorrah?

Richard Dawkins' Dream State Now we find liberals blowing up children in public school classrooms (on video) and delighting in it. But this is nothing new. Kevin Swanson takes you on a horrific journey through the heart of the most atheistic nation in the world - North Korea. When man is furthest from God, what does he become? You had better get up to speed on this, if you are going to continue riding the materialistic, atheistic train in the west towards total government and a committed national atheism. Kevin draws from a powerful book that gives first-hand testimony to the horrors of the North Korean work camps - "The Eyes of the Tail-less Animals."
