Turning Tummies Towards Home With a little tongue in cheek, the men from Generations get behind the recently emerging, Home Nutrition Movement. But Kevin Swanson takes on both sides of the issue, interviewing first Allen Amode from the National Child Nutrition Advocacy Group, followed up with another interview with Michael Farrell JD, chief litigator for the Center for Home-Based Nutrition. Don't miss the point of the program that comes with a little subtlety and a ton of force at the end!

How to Deal with Depression It's the day after Christmas when all through the house. Everyone's sort of sour, yes, even the mouse. The stockings are tossed on the living room chairs. St. Nick hardly made it, this recession's a bear. The children are screaming loud in their beds. With indigestive pains and hard throbbing heads. A couple of dads in studio talk about the let down of the post-holiday blues, and what to do about it.

Guys in Suits at the Door How is it that cults like the Mormons are winning more evangelicals over to their side, than the other way around? Kevin Swanson suggests that the Mormons might just be producing better politics, better families, better marriages, and better church community than the wider evangelical church. Kevin interviews Pastor Jason Wallace from Salt Lake City on how to have a fruitful discussion with those that take a fundamentally different view of important things like God, justice, sin, and atonement. Does doctrine matter? Does history matter? Or do we all just make it up as we go along?

For God so Loved the World... What would this world look like, if Jesus had never come and His message had never transformed the lives of millions around the globe? Host, Kevin Swanson looks at the worst hell holes on earth and the religions/worldviews that dominate in those places, finding practically no trace of the Christian faith whatsoever. Then, he turns to the most stable, most prosperous, and most free nations on earth, and finds some remnants of the Christian faith. He reviews economies, political liberties, private charitable initiative, the treatment of the infirm, etc., and concludes the power of ideas and love of Christ is truly remarkable, as it transforms lives and cultures. This is a program you do not want to miss!

De-funding Socialist Education Faced with the ever-expanding, inevitable growth of socialism in Western "democracies," since the birth of the public school movement in America, those who still kinda liked freedom have all but given up hope. Yet there may be a faint glimmer of hope in a new political stratagem inspired by one, Paul Dorr from Iowa. He's going for the belly of the socialist beast, and he's making some appreciable progress at it. For six years now, he's taken the lead opposing School Bond Elections all over the country, and he's winning.

A Crying Need So many young women in our society are gauche, rude, unwise, ostentatious, undignified, careless in speech - ruining relationships as they go. They have no idea how to love a husband, love and raise a child, manage a home, and do about 98% of life, even after graduating from college. The Bible has a perfect solution for this. It's the walk-along, talk-along, discipleship of an older woman with a younger woman. Unfortunately, it's very rare to see this kind of relational, organic discipleship happening much. What is pictured here is not some 35 year old pastor's wife, recently graduated from seminary, trying to download some material from a book written by a single woman on "The Feminine Mystique" for a class of 20.

Blago and Madoff With corruption proliferating in our economic and political systems, the Wall Street Journal opines that capitalism cannot survive without character. Kevin Swanson agrees and points out that the failure of character is a failure in the basic philosophy of how to educate a child in K-12 and university settings. This spawns a discussion on the many sins that plague young men and how the lessons of character are the hardest and yet most important of all.
