Without The Rule of God We Have Tyranny

September 17, 2012
In American society when people hear the word “tyranny” they associate it with a despot ruling his country by force due to absolute power. Since America became a nation Americans have not experienced giving absolute power to one man. However, very few know that tyranny not necessarily does it have to do with one individual having unrestrained exercise of power. Do you know how else tyranny manifests?

Looking beyond the indoctrination of Obama we must look at the one that controls all human affairs, God Himself! If you are familiar with the Bible and history it shall not come as a surprise to understand that God raises men to power and brings them down as well. It is God who allows nations or empires to rise to greatness and then fall due to their wicked corrupt life styles. Having allowed Obama to rise to the highest power in this land, what is God saying to America?

No doubt Obama has millions of Americans puzzled about who he really is. This is the result of much controversy generated by Obama himself and those who surround him. From his troubled childhood and youth, to heavy consumption of alcohol and drugs, to so many shady areas such as his community service career, State Senator, to his presidential candidacy. We all have beliefs.  The question is, how committed are we to those beliefs?

It is the duty of citizens to have the right and responsibility to question the background, character and proposals of any candidate who wants the presidency of this nation as well as to be Commander-in-chief of our Armed Forces. It is common knowledge that the media, for the most part, has a liberal leftist bias and will always favor those who represent their interests without revealing the true socialist ideology of the candidate they favor.

We must be aware of the downfalls of human nature and not only hear what they are saying or what we want to hear. We must look beyond their inspiring messages whose only goal is to win us over with political campaign tactics and gimmicks. We are totally responsible for what we hear.

We are obligated to look beyond that rhetoric full of promises opening up hope for a new world and a better life. The best filters to spot danger are the words of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of John records the following: "But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man” (John 2:24-25).

There is no doubt that politics have taken over the mind of the nation.  It is incredible how the mind fog has blinded people to the $16 trillion of National Debt which has put every household in America 130K in debt. If the voters don't look beyond the rhetoric of politicians we are looking at the demise of America in the face. God will not be mocked, what we sow we reap.

No one can deny that we are in full swing of the presidential election. As we hear the many speeches we decide what is real and what is part of the show.  God sets up rulers and brings down rulers but He expects us to know who to vote for that will uphold His values. Why does God deal differently with each ruler? Through what lens do we see our rulers? Is it merely through their speech-making that we decide who will be at the helm of our nation or do we have a deeper criteria then that?

For Years Sudanese Christians have suffered horrendous persecution at the hands of Muslims. Even though the nation was divided into North and South Sudan, with Christians taking refuge in the south; many Christians are still trapped in the North.  Christians have been impoverished and are extremely vulnerable. President Omar al-Bashir has made it clear that Christians are not welcome in Sudan. Frankly he’s repeatedly declared his intention to make the constitution of Sudan 100 percent Islamic, making Christians even more vulnerable. Here is an opportunity to help fellow Christians out of this predicament.

Why do we even celebrate “Labor Day” as a national holiday? Don’t you find it ironic that the majority of people welcome the long Labor Day weekend by not working the first Monday of September? My heart and prayers go out to all the 26 million unemployed and those among them who desperately want a chance to work and earn a decent living. To all of you I say: do not give up, keep an open mind and listen to your heart for an alternative that will lead you to generate the possibility of putting your talents to good use.

How important are the words we hear every single day? How important are the words we speak? It is important to note that words do not come from thin air.  Something inspires words which gives us a window to the soul of the speaker. In this election year, we are hearing many words spoken by charismatic people.  Accept responsibility and destroy the myths generated around a candidate. What is the rhetoric of their words really saying? Too much is at stake to be taken by personalities alone.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
