God's Ongoing Plan for Humanity Part 3

September 7, 2009
After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and his descendants because God made it very evident that his initial covenant with His creation was no mistake, neither was humanity's disobedience going to thwart it, thanks to Noah. God is a God of covenants. God wants to be known so he prefers to work through binding promises. It is only through the covenant that people can maintain a relationship with the sovereign Lord of heaven and earth.

God never saves us so we can be spectators of what is taking place in His world. Nor does He want us to be passive in making His culture relevant to all areas of life. He wants us to engage with His plan. Noah and his family had no dependency on priests or pastors to know what to do. They had God and His Word to accomplish the commission given to them. History is not about the will or kingdom of men but the will, or Kingdom, of God.

With the destruction of the unrighteous in Noah’s generation, it becomes only too evident that men are incapable of stopping God from fulfilling His original purpose for creating earth and its inhabitants. It is also evident that God will never alter His original plan just because men choose to turn their backs on Him and His Commands.

The younger ones in every generation need to know what the Lord has declared and will continue to declare. God knows that even His elect have a tendency to turn away from His ways and pervert His Word. When a nation proclaims that God is their trust, but the human perversion of their actions demonstrate the opposite, it is only a matter of time before God's great judgment will fall upon the rebellious chosen ones.

God knows He created man perfect, to have an intimate relationship with him that he might impart His knowledge and wisdom applicable to all areas of life and the world. But when man chooses to turn his back on God and all that He represents, he has become an apostate and if there is no repentance God has to deal accordingly. God never changes, He never wavers; He is immutable. Therefore, it is man who changes not God. His high ideals for His creation remain the same.

By God’s Omniscience at Noah’s conception, He knew His vessel of honor had arrived. Keep in mind that the social conditions when Noah was born were those of a degenerate people. All the inhabitants gave themselves over to do violence and to corrupt their ways. It is obvious that Noah had a choice to be like the rest of the people of his time including his father, brothers, sisters and other relatives and even his neighbors, or to be a righteous person against all odds where unrighteousness was the predominant social force.

Since the war between righteousness and unrighteousness began in the fall of man and manifested in the first two sons of Adam and Eve which ended in the murder of Abel it has continued to this present time. This will continue to be for all future generations who will be waiting for the knowledge of God to dominate every area of life.

Adam and Eve had sons that demonstrated both tendencies of righteousness and unrighteousness. Their legacy of war between the righteous and unrighteous continued after they died, up until our present generation and so shall it be for future generations. Which one will win in your life?

From the very beginning, God established the basis for our relationship with Him. Righteousness can only be produced from making God the only source of what is right in our knowledge of life and the world. It is easy for any believer, without the knowledge or acceptance of God's ways, to blame God for all the evil that happens in the world just as easy as an unbeliever would. How can this be?

One of the most outstanding characteristics of God is righteousness and it is upon His revealed truth and character that we are to act in judging any type of moral behavior. Cain, due to his sinful nature, developed unrighteous behavior. Through his evil action it reveals to us that the source of unrighteousness comes from the evil one. Who are you obeying?

Genesis reveals to us the fall of man and how through that action Adam and Eve became unrighteous and were exposed to God's way and Satan's way. If we have inherited their fallen nature, who can be righteous? Does the fact that all fail at some point make us ineligible to judge anyone? In our modern world, who determines what is right and what is wrong? Do Biblical standards apply even in people's lives who don't believe in the Bible?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
