The Man God Blesses
Thursday, June 07, 2007
Along with being a man of integrity and wealth, Job was a man whom God blessed. He was considered a great man, outstanding in his time. Dr. Kroll outlines what was unique about Job. He was uniquely blessed in prosperity, long life and God's guidance. He was unique in wisdom, exercising justice as one whose advice or counsel was trustworthy. He was also unique in compassion, caring for the welfare of the poor, the strangers, along with his own family. And he was unique in honor, treated with respect, and whose presence and opinion carried weight with others. We'll see that godliness and integrity go a long way to making life successful before God.
