The situation of Moses and Aaron coming before Pharaoh was desperate.  Pharoah had no interest in the God of Israel, but was simply a person who was interested in being amused.  Unlike Pharaoh, we should not be looking to God for amusement, but for the miracle of the new birth that God offers to us.
