No matter what plagues God placed on Egypt, Pharaoh continually hardened his heart and did not change.  We learn from this that the difficulties in our life should cause us to examine ourselves.  Moses and Aaron obeyed God and God protected them; as children of God, we can rest in God's protection and grace.
