Christian parents send their kids to public school because they draw distinctions between parenting (discipleship) and education. What possible harm can the schools do to their minds, since the Christian faith has nothing to say about stuff like science, history, economics, or even education for that matter! Once you separate the fear of God from knowledge, you don't have to worry about what kind of "education" you give your kids! It's easy.
