April 2, 2013
New Zealand is pretty much following suit with Colorado and other American states that are moving towards approving homosexual marriage, etc. However, there are fathers with vision who by God's grace are raising the next generation of faithful families to the Lord Jesus Christ. Kevin Swanson interviews Kris Baines, a homeschool father of six who "gets it!"

According to some surveys, fundamentalist Christians are almost twice as likely to access pornography. Almost 80% of young men do porn regularly, which means they will make lousy husbands for the most part. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner talk about the porn problem and the remedies.

Anywhere from 70% - 97% of the Mosaic generation are walking away from the faith, if that means abandoning a biblical worldview once held by their grandparents and parents. Kevin Swanson discusses a new survey to get to the bottom of the failure points. Was it educational methodology, church involvement or lack thereof, cultural influences, or family relationships that mattered most? Also Kevin interviews Dr. Jeff Myers from Summit Ministries on their 2014 Worldview Study Program for young people.

The animus developing within the Republican party is at an unprecedented high level. Even Mike Huckabee threatens leaving. The Republicans aren't known for standing on principle, but what about the liberals? But the important question of the day: Will the CEO of Starbucks lay down his life, his fortunes, and his sacred honor for the cause of Sodomy?

With employer mandates coming down hard on large companies, many Christians who do not want to support abortion or pay for $25,000 medical insurance policies will migrate towards smaller companies or entrepreneurial endeavors. Kevin Swanson interviews David Tucker regarding his new book on how to build small businesses. Listeners should find this to be one of our most helpful and practical interviews thus far.

It is arguably the greatest massacre in the history of the world. According to www.numberofabortions.com, the world now aborts a billion babies every 30 years. China has killed 330 million since 1971, and Russia kills 73% of its conceived babies. America is also in the running. Wonder what God thinks about all this bloodshed? Secularism has done its damage on the whole world. Kevin Swanson quotes Richard Dawkins, a man who places higher value on an adult pig than a child in the womb. How can this man place "higher value" on anything when, according to his own philosophy, nothing is of any value whatsoever in a world without absolute value?

Illegitimacy rates are especially high among "new moms." Almost half of firstborn children are born without fathers now. The effects of illegitimacy and "mom-led" households on young men are especially bad. The consequences of this tragic social experiment on future generations (and economic systems) are yet to be fully realized. Kevin Swanson does triage on the burned-out Western world by explaining how the church will rebuild families in the devastation.

Feminism dominates and males are hardly the men they should be as described by Scripture. This is the heart of the breakdown of our social systems. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner discuss the biblical pattern for male and female.

Picture the stereotypical liberal academic, the archetypal feminist living the lesbian lifestyle. Is this beyond the reach of Christ's transforming grace and Spirit's mighty regenerating force? Don't even consider it! Rosaria Butterfield tells the story of her radical conversion from the lesbian feminist to pastor's wife and homechool mom. The world says that it is impossible for a leopard to change its spots and a homosexual to change his/her orientation. But our God specializes in this kind of thing - and yes, it is supernatural. Don't miss this great interview with Rosaria Butterfield!

America has the largest incarceration rate for youth in the world. These are society's rejects, but they still need the Gospel as much as everybody else. And, they may be even more receptive. When a world is dysfunctional beyond repair, there is still hope for repair. But it will not come from the humanist systems. Only the power of God can cut through the destruction that humanism has brought to the modern world.

The big city tyrants are taking away liberties and celebrating debauchery down at the capital. Meanwhile, there are a few county sheriffs who still believe in protecting freedoms of the citizenry here and there. Will it be better to live in the big cities or the small towns and rural areas, if you like liberty and community and self-government under the principles of God's Word? Also, we discuss the persecuted pastors in America and Iran on this edition of Generations.
