September 20th - The D..A.D.T. Repeal is Coming - What Will Happen to Our Chaplains?
September 1, 2011
September 20th is the big day. The Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal is on its way. The prospects for chaplains who are retaining the bare essentials of the Christian faith may be turning tenuous. Kevin Swanson here interviews Brigadier General and retired Chaplain Douglas Lee (Director of the Presbyterian and Reformed Joint Commission of Chaplains and Military Personnel), on chaplaincy in an increasingly homo-sexualized military. Is this a watershed issue for the military and for the Christian faith as well? Chaplain Lee sees it this way, and encourages steadfast faith in the face of increasing resistance.
