The New York Times writes approvingly of evangelicals who focus on sprucing up the local public schools without evangelizing anybody. In an attempt to be relevant, Christians generally become the most irrelevant and the least impacting force in society, because they are so consumed with public approval and synthesis. The salt has lost its savor pretty much.
