Flash Mobs in Britain and Chicago - Blood on the Streets

August 19, 2011
Mob violence is picking up. So far, over $325,000,000 of damage is reported in Britain from these uprisings. The prime minister of Britain admits it comes from the breakdown of the family and morality in the inner city, much of which has been cultivated by statist programs. The last 40 years has prepared these modern nation states for major unrest and anarchy in the streets. What would righteous government do about it? We review a biblical system of justice and government on this edition of Generation, and then we start talking real solutions.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the screen!" Lanny Johnson from Alpha Omega Institute explains how he was deceived into believing a scientific theory that didn't have any evidence to back it up. Then, he began to recognize the finger prints on God's amazing creation. Would an evolutionist shed tears in the biology class, if he was nothing but cosmic dust explaining the origins of cosmic dust? Doubtful. But when a man like Lanny Johnson sheds tears while explaining the complex and wondrous reproductive system, the study of biology takes on a life of its own.

It may be the most dangerous city in the western hemisphere (based on murders and kidnappings per capita). If you google "Ciudad Mier," you would find some of the goriest pictures on the internet. Here, Kevin Swanson reports from Mexico on the Generations team's outreach to Ciudad Mier. What are the spiritual challenges behind the disruption of a city? How does a mayor rebuild a city torn apart by violence? Incredibly, the same problems afflicting America also afflict Mexico. But what are the solutions? If our commission is to disciple the nations, how would we begin with a city like Mier? Mike Richardson and Chad Roach join us for this broadcast.

Many families are backing away from an unaccountable dating model, in favor of the courtship approach (as their children approach marriage). They are looking for wise ways to revitalize the father-daughter relationship, and keep the family in the loop on the courtships. But things can still go wrong in the courtship process. Doug Wilson, author of the book, "Her Hand in Marriage," offers some helpful wisdom on this segment of Generations.

One survey conducted by a Democratic group in North Carolina pretty much captures the problem with America's thinking. Who sits in the seat of judgement? And who is absolutely sovereign over reality? God or man? Are you a humanist or a Christian? How you answer the question of sovereignty is critical.

What can we say about a hanging scene that respects biblical law and communicates the fear of God? So what's so bad about Captain America smacking the living daylights out of the Nazi's? Is it fair to commend a scene from a Hollywood movie that actually cracks the door for a biblical metaphysic? Kevin Swanson (with a little help from Steve Vaughan), reviews the Coen brothers' remake of True Grit, Captain America, and the Pirates of the Caribean on this edition of Generations.

The use of the Day-After pill has increased 4 fold in just the last few years. An estimated 7.6 million American women use the pill, which could add another three to four million to the annual abortion tally in this country. Are we doing all that much better than Vietnam, Cuba, and Russia? Doubtful, says Kevin Swanson on this edition of Generations. To make matters worse the Federal HHS is requiring an inclusion of the Day-After Pill in the Federal Healthcare Insurance requirements. We also discuss the role of the civil magistrate and the church in controlling the use of medication for the purpose of murdering a child. How many American Christian women have wombs filled with dead bodies of babies whose implantation on the uterine wall was impeded by the progestin?

Kevin Swanson interviews Representative David Simpson on the No-Groping Bill that almost made it through the Texas Legislature in June. Occasionally, a measure for freedom gains a little ground, and tyranny is set back on its haunches. It is reassuring to know that there are liberty-loving Americans in office who still have the courage to fight for a little freedom here and there! Rep. Simpson explains why the highest offices in Texas blinked when push came to shove in a confrontation with the feds.
