Columbus Day — Should You Celebrate? - Indigenous Persons Day

October 18, 2019
00:00 25:57

Should we honor the idolatrous ways of the Aztecs and Mayas, the human sacrifices that went on with those natives on the American plains? Should we all gather around Mount Ararat to celebrate indigenous persons day? Or, do we honor Christopher Columbus? The tendency is to throw the whole Christian influence of the last 2000 years out with the bathwater. Revolutionary generations consider themselves “innocent of all,” yet they are not washed from their own sins. Revolutionary generations are dangerous. Be careful with those who throw all Christian influence out the window. When we honor a person or a particular event, we need to ask ourselves. . . specifically, what are we honoring?

This program includes:

1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Student sets up "prayer lockers", VP Pence: 5-day ceasefire in Syria, Communists drag Chinese Christians out of church)

2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
