Christian leaders are recommending civil disobedience where the states are kowtowing to the homosexual agenda, and same-sex mirage. It seems the state has so degraded the marriage license in some places, it is worth about as much as a dog license. The sexual anarchy is almost total anyway. So the question for Christians is, "Why file a marriage license with the state?" For most of Western history, marriage was a contract between two families. Kevin Swanson asks the question, "So how's this big government control of marriage working out for you?" Why not bring back that contract between two families, witnessed by the church?

Kevin Swanson interacts with the Washington Post's and Christianity Today's stories on the seismic shifts that are happening among the non-denominational churches. He points out that the non-denominational church can produce a separation from the historical church. Yet, returning to the mainstream is just as problematic. Do we abandon Christian education, and parental discipleship and oversight, and cease all efforts to reformation? There was one key element missing in the stories on Joshua Harris and Mark Driscoll (and the mega-church earthquakes). Discipleship. This program includes: 1. Guest host Adam McManus [www.AdamMcManus.net] chats with Pastor Dwight McKissic of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas about McKissic’s outrage over the decision by the American Baptist College in Nashville to host three advocates of homosexual marriage on Tuesday, March 17th. One of the three speakers is a lesbian named Yvette Flunder, a United Church of Christ Bishop, who has been in an unnatural relationship with Shirley Miller for 30 years and is legally married in California. McKissic, who founded the National Baptist Fellowship of Concerned Pastors, declared that, “The American Baptist College is deliberately exposing young people to unorthodox views in a worship and preaching setting that wrongly affirms them as biblical truth, rather than more appropriately discussing them in a solely academic exercise." To object, call Dr. Forest Harris, the president of the American Baptist College, and politely disagree with his unbiblical position: 615.256.1463. Have you ever wondered why the youth drive much of the church culture, at least within evangelicalism? Where did this youth culture come from? Did Martin Luther start the first youth group? And what would Augustine think about the worship band, cranking it up on a Sunday morning? Kevin Swanson interviews T. David Gordon on the origins of youth culture, and what the millennials are really crying out for. The church had better wake up, or it will lose the church to the youth, and then it will lose the youth to boot! This program includes: 1. The World View in Five Minutes with Adam McManus 2. Fifty percent of Americans switch religions/denominations before they turn fifty. Kevin Swanson takes a look at a Wall Street Journal article of a Baptist family whose sons turn Anglican and Roman Catholic. And, everybody's quite happy about it. Is choosing a denomination about the same as choosing Mint Chip or Rocky Road at the Baskin Robbins' counter? Are people turning to a "traditionalism" for the same reason they're hanging out with Rob Bell? Here we discuss the post modern game of musical chairs and changing churches. This program contains: 1.
