Abortion Legalized 1920 - 2020 - How Satan Deceives All the Nations

October 24, 2019

It was a historic moment, as the final nation tipped over to a pro-abortion position. Now, all the nations have been deceived, no doubt by Satan. Kevin Swanson chronicles the amazing influence of Jesus Christ on the nations for the previous 1,900 years. Then, we take a look at how the devil deceives the nations beginning in 1920 (on abortion, and other anti-Christian ideologies and practices). Very interesting history on this edition of Generations!

The media zeitgeist seems to have lulled the whole Christian world into a comfortable sleep. Will there be another awakening? Will there ever be another revival in the Western World? How can this nation ever expect to see a reversal of Obergefell. . . without a revival of the churches? How can we ever expect a relaxation of persecution of Christians in Corporations, in the Media, in Local Communities. . . without a revival in the churches? How can we push for a banning of third trimester abortions. . . when 73% of American evagenclials are using abortifacients? How will we ever see a turning back to God in the universities, the media, and the K-12 schools. . . if the churches are asleep, dead, and stark cold? If revival and regeneration are the work of the Holy Spirit, is there anything we can do to seek it? We discuss the crying need, the desperate need for revival right now, in our churches and homes.

Justin Bieber and Kanye West are Christians now. . . or are they? What are Christians to think when they hear these announcements? Also, Christians encourage us to redeem “the things of the world,” including Yoga, Halloween, and the rest. But, what does this mean? What is that we would reject about all of this celebration of the “Day of the Dead?” What is there to redeem?

82% of evangelical children attend public schools, according to new Pew Research Data. Does God have anything to say about the education of an 8-year-old child, or is it merely a matter of Christian liberty? What about the training of a child? Scotland parliament has banned spanking, joining New Zealand, Italy, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, and other post-Christian countries. Should Scottish parents disobey the law? Should they render to Caesar the things that are Caesar, especially if their children attend the public schools?

Should we honor the idolatrous ways of the Aztecs and Mayas, the human sacrifices that went on with those natives on the American plains? Should we all gather around Mount Ararat to celebrate indigenous persons day? Or, do we honor Christopher Columbus? The tendency is to throw the whole Christian influence of the last 2000 years out with the bathwater. Revolutionary generations consider themselves “innocent of all,” yet they are not washed from their own sins. Revolutionary generations are dangerous. Be careful with those who throw all Christian influence out the window. When we honor a person or a particular event, we need to ask ourselves. . . specifically, what are we honoring? This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Student sets up "prayer lockers", VP Pence: 5-day ceasefire in Syria, Communists drag Chinese Christians out of church) 2. Here are ten things families fight over. The bathroom. Food. Money. Music. Who is to blame for forgetting this or breaking that thing? We cover the most common conflicts that occur in the home, and dig for root cause. Then, we discuss the best ways to handled conflict, and how Christ brings that blessed unity and peace in our homes. The peak influence of the church in the western world occurred during the Puritan era, and Matthew Henry represents the great impact of this movement upon the world. Daniel Pugh is the director of a new documentary film on the life and times of Matthew Henry. The tremendous persecution of these puritans and the powerful effect of family discipleship is seen with an influence that has reached the whole world over the last 300 years. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Planned Parenthood scalped babies, Undercover CNN video, Court compels dad to refer to daughter as "he") 2. Christian homeschool parents are in prison in Cuba. More Christian parents and pastors are in trouble in China for attempting to give them a Christian education. We make the point that this is the core spiritual battle going on in the Christian world today. The tug-of-war is over our children. The pressures in America are different than China, but just about as strong. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Spanking Banned in Scotland, Pew Research Survey: 4.5 Million Homeschoolers in America, Thirteen States Nix Columbus Day) 2. Is it poverty and unemployment that makes cities a rotten, miserable place? Do we blame it on the poor? Or, is it the fact that people are breaking the commandments of God? The worst cities and most immoral cities in the country are San Francisco, Washington DC, Detroit, and Gary Indiana? We point to abortion, welfare, sexual sin, and the like as the causes for destroying cities — which usually results in drug problems, poverty, and unemployment. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Beto O’Rourke Attacks Christian Churches in US, Elizabeth Warren Mocks Christians Standing for Marriage, New California Law Mandates Free Abortions at Universities) 2. How does a criminal get arrested 40 to 50 times, and turn out to be the most prolific serial killer in US history? Where was justice thirty years before he murdered all those people? Why does the modern world avoid justice, spanking, and consequences? What’s the worldview here? The message is clear. If there are no consequences here on earth, maybe, just maybe there won’t be any consequences on judgment day.

“The Joker” is the most popular movie in the country now. The move from sheer evil to a self-conscious ethical relativism happens quickly in these franchise serials. We review the Joker’s transition in worldview from tragedy to comedy, and then move to the director’s move towards complete metaphysical relativism. We also note that so far this year movies retaining a biblical worldview captured 0.6% of box office receipts. Pretty slim over all.
