Jesus did not teach the disciples a mystical, mythical or hypocritical form of prayer. Nor did he complicate the way of prayer. Rather, Jesus gave them a simple but profound guideline that was found in the law, the prophets, and the Psalms, also in the godly/righteous men and woman throughout the history of old Israel that we find in the Scriptures. We must learn from them.

What is your prayer life like? Do you make time to intercede as we are commanded especially as we see evil unfolding before our eyes. It is impossible to correct what's wrong through politics or good intentions alone. We are called to pray for those in authority and to engage in spiritual warfare. It is sad to see, for the most part, that prayer meetings are so poorly attended. Is that acceptable?

In the two thousand years of Christianity, these results are corroborated. Those who have left us their testimony of loyalty in doing God’s will and the things they accomplished speak for themselves and are of great inspiration and encouragement. The world has felt their impact.

Loyalty begins with God. What would faith in the God of the Bible mean if God was not faithful to his word or his promises? Jesus was so confident in his faithfulness that when it came time to send out the disciples to do what they had seen him do, he knew they would also see the same results. So he gave them this command: "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay." (Matthew 10:8)

Our understanding of loyalty and submission from the beginning of our new life in Christ until the end of our earthly time requires we acknowledge that every word of God is life and it is nurturing our entire being in: spirit, intellect, and emotions. Knowledge and observance of his word is mandatory for every believer.

Without properly and fully understanding God’s word the concept of being loyal or the value of loyalty loses its full meaning. Confused loyalty can never produce stability at any level of society. Individuals, families, and institutions need the right glue to bond and that does not originate with human faulty understanding of loyalty. Our focus in this segment will be what we learn in history about what turned Europe around in 1517, and launched a new era whose ripple, in time, would impact the entire world, to this day.

In the present cultural condition, America is going through social instability leading to a severe crisis. More and more we hear the word “loyalty” coming from every direction. Can we escape the demand for our loyalty? The fact is, we cannot. Whether we are conscious or not, every person is loyal in many areas. Loyalty that makes or breaks a society. The cultural war of ideas is influencing the minds of people demanding their loyalty. The question is, loyalty to what?

God's goal for every born-again believer is to make a positive difference in his or her respective nation. Regardless of what you were taught or believe, this is God's goal and it will happen. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16)

When the government continuously increases its size, is out of control in spending, there is unbearable growth of the national debt, pouring funds into the greedy welfare state, funding the police state, funding the obsession of the health care state, and much more. Who pays for it all? When the civil government thinks there are no higher laws than theirs, an unpleasant surprise is not far.

Self-government has the moral foundation placed by God and does not give allegiance to any human power. Self-government is not subject to the social trends of a culture or the world and relies upon God's revealed truth of what is right and wrong. Without self-government, all the other governments, family, civil and church can never be sustained under corrupted individuals. Let us remember the words of William Penn: "Let men be good, and the government cannot be bad; if it be ill, they will cure it. But, if men be bad, let the government be never so good, they will endeavor to warp and spoil it to their turn."

Christian Europe has been paying a high price for rejecting the God of the Bible and embracing imperfect man’s ideas believing they are greater than God’s. Biblical Christianity is almost none existent in the European continent and is wide open for more leaders like Mussolini and Hitler. Failed governments either distance themselves further from the God of the Bible or they cause a return to him. People determine their future.

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
