The distortion of the Gospel is very offensive to God. When people feel shame, they feel threatened and become hostile in their efforts to defend themselves instead of humbly accepting God’s truth and changing evil ways. When the body of Christ arrives to this very point of not being ashamed of the full Gospel of God and embracing it wholeheartedly, we will see another biblical reformation explode upon the face of the earth.

Believers should “be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Matt. 10:16). The only protection we have against being gullible and easily led astray is to be equipped with the knowledge of God, and to grow into the stature of the fullness of Christ. Not by words BUT by actions. Why are there so many interpretations of the same portions? Let the Scriptures interpret he Scriptures with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

God has not changed, and his Word is still the same, so, it is more than obvious that people are being limited by bad doctrine. People are shriveling up spiritually. The pivotal moment that needs to happen in the church is to say enough churchianity, enough entertainment and let’s get hungry for the Word of God.

The message of the Bible is the most powerful, complete and enduring message ever told. It is not just a beautiful story. There are good reasons to believe the Gospels are true. The authors of the Gospels were part of a community of Christ followers. They took Jesus’s message to heart and immediately acted upon it. This same power behind the Word of God is in existence today.

In recent years in America we have seen the lives of men and women destroyed by the lies.  Tragically, in far too many cases the allegations may be totally unfounded; nonetheless, the damage is not averted or lessened. Character assassination is quickly becoming a favorite tool to deploy. But, let us not be too quick to use lest we fall as victims as well.

The reason for calling on Pope Francis to face the sexual abuse problem in the church once and for all is because it is a grave problem and nothing new. The can has only been kicked down the road for a long time and the problem is only getting worse. The sooner we deal with sin from its root, the sooner we stop it from spreading death and destruction.

Every law is a judgment about what’s best for society. Unfortunately, the God-haters are forcefully pushing our society toward a premature destruction by making the argument that we ought not to make judgments about behavior. They, of course, can judge our behavior. The truth is we must make judgments if we are to maintain order. The question then becomes, whose standard are we going to use?

Sin is ever-present in the human race since Adam and Eve fell into sin. We have all inherited that sinful nature, but, thanks to Jesus Christ, we don’t have to stay in a fallen state. These days we are seeing a very serious crisis raise its ugly head yet again. When a bad weed is plucked out, to ensure that it doesn’t return the roots must be dug up and destroyed also. Facing sin requires bravery and resolve for all of us.

I often think of a ship without a rudder when I perceive the condition of Christianity as a whole in this country. From the outset I want to make it very clear that there are always exceptions to everything and I know there are very faithful people to God out there who will never betray him and his ways. Living life without a solid sense of direction or defined destination means you allow every wind of doctrine or notion to carry you along. That is what has happened to too much of Christianity.

No believer is exempt from this responsibility if they want spiritual growth, as well as being able to discern to detect heresy, distortions or imbalances in the preaching and teaching you are hearing from the Word of God. Ultimately, you are the one responsible for your spiritual well-being before God.

The Word of God is not something we can live without. We can do without a lot of things, but the Word of God is not one of them. Physical nourishment is not sufficient for a healthy life; man also has spiritual needs. “… man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord” (Deuteronomy 8:3).

To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
