We live in a time where everyone seems angry, polarized and tensions are high. We need to turn to the Bible and God more than ever. Especially with Thanksgiving approaching family can bring out either the best or worst in us. So let us find out what does the bible says about joy?

Galatians 5:22-23 tells us about the fruits of the Spirit, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.” If the Spirit lives within you, He will naturally produce joy in your life.

Having joy from the Spirit does not mean that you are happy all the time, but it means that when life gets tough you have the Spirit and God’s purpose to guide you through the trials.

We hope these sermons will give you a better understanding of Joy and will help guide you towards God’s spirit.

Bearing Fruit

Did you know that God wants you to bear the fruit of his life?

Things like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

But how? How can we bear this fruit?

Jesus answered it this way.

"I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he is that bears much fruit, for apart from you can do nothing."

Bearing fruit is the result of living in Christ, and Christ living in us.

Here is the good news.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in Him, and he in God.

So if you have believed in the name of Jesus, you abide in Christ, and he abides in you.

And you will bear much fruit.
