References: Acts 17
We have already learned a great deal from the first three messages of the series “From Athens to America,” but there is much more to learn in today’s message. Stephen reminds us that Paul didn’t go to the idolatrous city of Athens to tear down their idols and picket outside their temples: he went to share the Gospel with them. And if America, like Athens, is ever going to come to know the unknown God in a personal way, it will be because the Church decides to put down her canons and start carrying what she was meant to carry: a cross.
